Chris Future comments on the Republican "Debate" by Chris Future

Last night, I witnessed what the mainstream media labelled a debate. However, it was not a debate, or even a debacle, as I like to call them. Last nights Republican "debate" was simply a 90 minute long commercial for the candidacy of John McCain.
As I have said on my show many times, the mainstream media and the political establishment cannot stomach the straight up, strict constitutionalist policies of Ron Paul. For the longest time over the course of this campaign, they have continually marginalized, minimized and ignored the Ron Paul bid. I have even surmised that there is some mythical "Non-Paul" memo, which they all sent out to their respective talent saying "Don't mention Ron Paul if you value your job"
However, as candidates continue to drop out of the race, the media is forced to include Ron Paul in the debates. But they need to continue to marginalize the good Doctor, as the non-Paul memo is still in effect. How do they do this without appearing to marginalize?
Simple. Instead of excluding one person, they include only one. The mainstream media has "selected" John McCain as their GOP candidate of choice. As the most liberal of the candidates, it comes as no real surprise, having won the praise of the New York Times.
Therefore, the debate was presented not as a true debate. All candidates did not get equal time to answer all questions. The camera angles and the set up was done in such a way as to present John McCain in the best light, and all other candidates as foils to their anointed candidate - yes, even Governor Romney. If you have a copy of the debate - watch it again. This is more than simply marginalizing Ron Paul, this is blatant promotion of John McCain by the mainstream media.
Are we going to let the mainstream media select our next President? My hope is that most Americans will see through this charade and do their own research, and make their own decisions about who to vote for, and not simply listen to another empty talking head tell them what to do.
