CNN: Without Honor and Lying

The CNN Debate had almost every Republican candidate talk about honor, right behavior, and protecting others; and doing the other IN THE DEBATE

The CNN Debate was held tonight, January 30th, for the Republican party. Again, they excluded Ron Paul from speaking. The other candidates are as responsible for ensuring fair behavior and a level playing field as CNN is itself. Dishonorable behavior includes allowing wrongs to go on because they help you.

I took particular offense at where Ron Paul tried to answer a question, and the CNN host PROMISED to let him answer in two minutes, and he would get back to him.  He never did.  This was on top of the rest of the dishonorable behavior among the other candidates.  What would have been appropiate?  Excuse me, I don't think you remembered to get back to Ron Paul like you said you were going to.  Honorable behavior, not dishonorable.

He lied on the air, intentionally, in front of millions. That lying is considered not wrong is outrageous and unbelievable. A Democracy can not exist where debates no longer exist. Nor can the news broadcasters lie to the public in such a fashion.

I pray for our country, that this type of dishonorable behavior can not exist. Lying is wrong. The self serving talk about honor, and protecting others from McCain and the other candidates sickens me as I watch them commit that evil themselves right there in the debate itself.

No honor.

Thank you Max. The MSM has been treating Ron Paul's campaign as a one off from the beginning. How can we expect them to treat him with the respect he deserves at this point? As far as they are concerned, he was never in the race. But when Anderson Cooper cut Dr. Paul off mid sentence, I think they reached a new low.

Some of the worst behavior, in my estimation, came from McCain and Romney. They sat there with nervous grins on their faces as Dr. Paul schooled them on several key points. They know the truth and Dr. Paul was speaking it. So they acted disrespectfully --- giggling and nervously shifting their feet around. How can anyone support grown men that conduct themselves on the national stage in such a manner? It made my skin crawl and I share your disgust and outrage.

I truly hope that the many commenters on CNN.com that called out the unfair treatment of Dr. Paul will share their opinion with everyone they know.

I only hope that people will see this for what it was.

CNN refused to post my comment on their debate response board. It didn't even have any foul language. It said:

Once again, CNN looks for good news clips. Once again CNN wants to tell US who the front runners are. Huck and Paul were not given equal time. This is totally ridiculous. I can accept that mccain and romney get a little more time. BUT PLEASE. I think Ron Paul got less time in the debate then the last one. Huckabee was totally screwed by Cooper and his cronies. The poor guy is being eliminated by the media because they view it as his fault mccain will be elected. At least he can feel Ron Pauls pain again.

CNN,
Stop trying to tell us who we want. Show us all of the candidates equally and LET US DECIDE FOR OURSELVES. This is disgraceful journalism.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Ron Paul is fighting for us. Now we have to fight for him!

Anderson Cooper's conduct at tonight's debate is inexcusable!

If CNN has any journalistic integrity at all; THEY MUST TAKE ACTION AGAINST ANDERSON COOPER!

  Anderson Cooper MUST BE FIRED!!!

This cannot go unanswered. Our nation's media must be held accountable.

The Soviet era "Pravda" would have been more fair!

We need to stop having "debates" hosted by the big media, and go back to independent organizations like the league of women voters.

I agree with you 100%. I can't believe that they simply will not let Dr. Paul talk. He is the only one worth listening to and the only one in either party who should be the president of the USA. God help the world if Ron Paul doesn't win.

the longer Paul stays in the race, the harder it will become for MSM and the corporate interests to ignore him. granted, the corpotocracy will probably still manage to keep him silenced, but they will not be able to keep the people silent when we decide to take back our freedoms by force. a few years from now americans are gonna be scratching their heads trying to comprehend who's stupidity let them fall so far into idiocracy. For now we will wait and pray that the people at the top recognize the future civil conflicts that will develop by trying to manipulate us. its probably false hope, but at this point we have no choice but to wait and see this through. personally tho, i've come to the conclusion that they will not see reason, making a fight for our freedom inevitable.

I watched the debate and its been a long time since I have held as much anger as I do toward CNN.  I did write them and let them know how shameful they have acted.   I wonder if there is any action we can take except to stop watching them and refuse to buy from their sponsors.

Lets boycott them and all of their sponsors again, it worked like a charm for the Fox Myrtle Beach debate, there is more of us than they can imagine.
