♣Truth Realm is pleased to bring you this message from the Ron Paul 2008 Campaign. The army of support for Dr. Paul continues to grow day by day. Even as Washington led his troops through a difficult winter in Valley Forge, Dr. Ron Paul is now leading us toward new Hope for America. Will you take these words to heart?
January 30, 2008
Every movement in history has faced some time of testing, some experience that either forges it into something strong and unified, or forces it to fade away into the history books as another failed experiment.
Dr. Paul has written to you that we are heading straight for Super Tuesday. Our opponents are free to beat up on each other and wear themselves down while we gather our supporters and prepare to storm the convention with delegates.
Last night, over 60,000 people stood up and asked for an end to the runaway violation of our liberties. But contrary to the impression you may be getting from the mainstream media, no national delegates have yet been won in Florida. Those delegates will only be awarded between February 6 and April 30 at delegate selection caucuses, and many of those delegates will be supporters of Dr. Paul.
Ron Paul is the only candidate not to give up on any state in the Republican race, and just as we competed strongly in overlooked states like Nevada and Louisiana, so too will we compete in Maine, Minnesota, and other states that the so-called "top-tier" candidates are content to ignore.
Now, as the focus shifts to Super Tuesday, Rudy's campaign is crushed, Huckabee is losing momentum by the day, and McCain and Romney are fighting over who is the most liberal.
We've been here before. In 1776, despite a courageous effort at holding onto the city, George Washington ceded New York and quickly retreated to New Jersey.
And then, during the winter of 1777-1778, Washington and his army faced perhaps their most humiliating moment, forced to endure a harsh Pennsylvania winter with limited supplies at Valley Forge.
The American revolutionaries dealt with their defeats, focused on their goals, and emerged from Valley Forge as a force that would defeat the most powerful nation on earth.
Our momentum is building. Each one of us, from Dr. Paul himself down to the grassroots supporter who donates the last $5 he or she can give, is focused on the goal.
Early in the struggle for American independence, George Washington wrote: "Perseverance and spirit have done wonders in all ages." Even then, Washington realized that a fierce struggle for self-government can only be won with a spirit of determination equal to the challenge.
Today, in the midst of our new revolution, let's consider Washington's words once again. The task before us is enormous. The foes of liberty are deeply entrenched, and they will not relinquish their power without a struggle.
But fighting in our favor is the unconquerable human spirit, the innate desire to be free. We must embrace this inner strength, dig in our heels, and persevere, just as Washington and his rag-tag colonials, the first American grassroots patriots, did before us. And if we must pass through a Valley Forge or two along the way to victory, let those times of testing temper the steel of our determination.
If Ron Paul is to continue his fight for liberty to the Republican Convention, we need your help in two critical ways:
Donate: Just as the Continental Congress supplied General Washington's troops in the field, we too must raise as much money as we can to equip our grassroots supporters.

Stay the course? Ron Paul can't win this war politically! How much of his supporter's money is he going to waste on a war that he can't win? He needs to just come home, he did a good job. Ron Paul's strategy was flawed upon entering the race. I never supported him, and neither did 90% of America. Ron Paul has no exit strategy, it will all end bad.
Congressman Paul's campaign strategies are proving to be very smart indeed.
In the last 2 days I got 3 more people to support Ron Paul. They now have Ron Paul signs in their yards. The movement is growing exponentially.
Don't listen to the blather of the warmongers: "the statist" and the MSM. Their only purpose is to discourage us - and all they have are lies and deceit. They see our successes and become more and more rabid - like an animal consumed by the fear of losing its kill.
That's right, as long as people like me continue to donate, Ron Paul will continue spreading the meme of classical liberalism-- he's said as much in his last vid to supporters. Personally I'll be plugging away right through the Texas primary. In Novemeber, I'll decide whether to expatriate or expand aggressively into government contracting.
Collectivism is slavery, and some of us would rather be broke and free as opposed to being slaves to the state. Either way, it *will* eventually end badly for all the parasites who'd like to co-opt other people's wealth and earning potential. They'll have to learn Chinese, or find some other new host, because WE ARE waking up Generation Y and WE ARE fiscally boxed in.
"the statist" guys like you r the cause of your doom. You buy into the hype, and not substance. An honest guy like Ron Paul is fighting on behalf of the people, and against the military corporations, which only care about the their profit, and how much they can steal tax money at the cost of innocent lives of soldiers. if you r a gambler, then go on... vote for the illiterate McCain who openly said he knows nothing about the economy, and sings his national anthem of bomb bomb bomb iran!! or a fake arrogant cheater like mitt, or even better, the blind preacher like huck, who exploits religion for votes!!And if u think u will get a share of the stolen iraqi oil after killing 1000000 iraqis already by voting for these warmongers.. you r dreaming!! Enron and Opec is making record profits while the common people r going bankrupt. So keep dreaming. I admire ron paul supporters greatly, atleast they r not blind, and they have brains. He may well loose.. but atleast they can tell that they supported ron paul when everyone is bankrupt and there is world war 3 going on.
Guys, I'm pretty sure The Statist is trolling, so SFTT (Stop Feeding The Troll).
Â
I remember reading this this morning, and out of all the messages, this stirs my heart the most.  Libertarianism was won by a relatively small percentage of the population of the time, out to disrupt a Statism that compared to today is not that bad.
Â
Now it's the same, only The State has grown in a power and fury that should scare any individual.
Â
And the intellectual foundation that Ron Paul is running on!  The Constitution of the United States of America, The Declaration of Indepence, The Ethics of Liberty, Two Treatises of Government, Civil Disobedience (for the tax rebellers of the rEVOLution), Human Action, Socialism, The Federalist Papers, The Road to Serfdom, Individualism and Economic Order, Free to Choose, and I would be proud to add even Ron Paul additions to these.
Â
And the people involved with the intellectual base:Â Hayek, Friedman, Rothbard, Mises, Locke, Jefferson, Madison.
the statist:
What a good little German you are. Das Fuer is very proud of you.
I guess that you like having the govt listen to your phone calls, take 60% of your income and spend it killing innocent people...you sir, need some reading assignments.

I had this same thought this am. I am glad someone more eloquent than me wrote it.
Dr. Paul is a student of history. No fight has been won right off the bat. No clear initial front runner has ever won, except for maybe in ancient rome and greece. German won alot of initial victories in both world wars. The US had great initial success in vietnam.
But most importantly the original PATRIOTS had their collective arses handedd to them up front. It was Washingtons perseverance that wore down the machine of despotism. Washington bankrupt the Brits.
This is true guerilla warfare. Its a battle of attrition. November is a long way off to make such quiting statements. The statist is just scared about our increasing success. Say all you want 3% in a state that wasnt contested as it is winner take all and was thoroughly saturated. Why waste our money there? Let all the others battle it out and bankrupt themselves. Guerilla warfare takes time, patience and pereverance. Thank God the statist has none, hell he probably even picked his NFL team yesterday for the Super Bowl. He only wants to be a thorn in the side of LIBERTY, the best way to handle him is like Jesse Jackson. Make everyone free than he becomes insignificant.
LIBERTY or DEATTH
