Topic: Ron Paul
The 44th President of the USA: Dr. Ron Paul

Rudy's concession speech declared "Ron Paul Won!" I agree! This is how Ron Paul WILL Win!
by Natalie Schultz

Members of Congress: It is My Privilege to Present to You the 44th President of the United States of America: The Honorable Dr. Ron Paul!

I have just had an epiphany! Thanks, ironically, to Rudy Giuliani!

Tonight, in his concession speech, Rudy gave Ron Paul his best endorsement yet: "Ron Paul Won!"

Rudy basically told the entire nation that Ron Paul is the most popular Republican in the race. Of course, we already knew that!

So, here is our Ultimate Plan: Ron Paul will stay in the race all the way to the end. Then, at the last minute, Ron Paul will pull out of the Republican race and go Third Party!

Ron Paul will run against the Republican McCain - Huckabee ticket AND the Democrat Clinton - Obama ticket and WIN!!!!!!

This is our Revolutionary TV ad that will run for 2 weeks straight before Election Day in November:

Intro: Rudy Giuliani: "Ron Paul won all the debates!"

***

Background picture: American soldiers STILL dying in Iraq. Then Obama voting "Present" on Iran.

Sound: Clips of McCain saying that we will be in Iraq for 100 more years. Then a clip of Pat Buchanan saying that a McCain presidency will guarantee even more wars.

***

Background pics: The stock market crashing, oil prices rising, gold prices rising.

Sound: A clip of Jim Cramer telling Ron Paul that he is the only candidate who knows anything about the economy.

***

Then: A clip of Romney calling McCain a liberal.

***

Then: Rush Limbaugh (on McCain and Huckabee): "I'm here to tell you, if either of these two guys get the nomination, it's going to destroy the Republican Party. It's going to change it forever, be the end of it. A lot of people aren't going to vote. You watch."

***

Then: A clip of Huckabee telling his voters: "If you're not going to vote for me, well then we'll make sure that you don't make it out of the driveway." (after Florida, I think he was in Missouri).

***

Then: Rush Limbaugh: "I can see possibly not supporting the Republican nominee this election, and I never thought that I would say that in my life."

***

Background picture: Obama snubbing Hillary when she went to shake Ted Kennedy's hand.

Sound: Lou Dobbs: One of his rants on both Party's candidates not caring about the people.

***

Finale: Lou Dobbs "It's Independent's Day!"

***

I'm Ron Paul and I approve this message because it's high time we take our country back from all these politicians who do not care about YOU, the American People.  This Election Day I am asking for your vote because we need to return to a government FOR the PEOPLE, BY the PEOPLE. Vote for me because I am the ONLY candidate who consistently upholds the Constitution of the United States of America!

******

This ad will probably be 2 minutes long, so it will be expensive, but it will be the ONLY ad we will need to run because it is a direct attack, using the words and images of others, of the utter incompetence and hypocrisy of both Parties.

I have no video / computer skills to do this, but I know there are RP supporters who do.

Now, our real problem will be getting Ron Paul on the ballot in all 50 states. Here in NY we are allowed fusion tickets -  cross-nominations by multiple Parties. So, in NY Paul can be on the Reform, Libertarian and Constitution tickets. In other states fusion tickets are illegal, so ONE 3rd Party will have to nomiate Ron Paul and all the other 3rd Parties will have to NOT RUN another candidate. So, the better established Party should nominate Ron Paul and the other Parties should work together with that Party, at least this year. Please, for once, let's just put our petty differences aside. We all support Ron Paul. Even though each Party has a slightly different platform, these difference cannot come between us at this moment.

Here are links to Third Parties that support Ron Paul. The only ones that do not, as far a I know, are the Greens and various Socialist and Communist Parties.

http://www.reformparty.org/

http://www.americanreform.org/
Note: neither Reform Party seems active, but I know some chapters have endorsed Ron Paul.

http://www.lp.org/

Most Libertarians support Paul. The Libertarian candidate for President has said he will not run if Paul gets the Republican nomination. At this point, we must convince the LP to just nominate Paul because that is the only chance for both the country and the LP to actually elect the RIGHT candidate to save ourselves from utter annihilation.

http://www.ballot-access.org/2007/07/20/do-sore-loser-laws-apply-to-presidential-candidates/

There MAY be a problem in some states regarding "Sore Loser" laws. Personally, my interpretation of these laws is that they do not apply to the PRESIDENTIAL election ballot, because right now Ron Paul is running for the NOMINATION, not the actual presidency, as a Republican. Therefore, in my opinion, these are two completely separate races.  Also, I believe these laws are a direct violation of First Amendment and voter's rights because if say, the Libertarian Party wanted to nominate Ron Paul no matter what, how can any state prevent them from doing so? That is completely unethical and should be illegal. We will need a very good lawyer to take this on though.

We must focus on National Third Parties, but I know there are tons of state Third Parties as well. Here in NY we have a Conservative Party that is actually the 3rd largest and a very powerful Party. The problem, in my opinion, is that they are no longer much more "conservative" than the GOP. Also, they usually focus on state and local candidates. They were going to endorse Thompson, but I do not know where they stand now. I think I will send them my Precinct Leader letter; even though it is aimed at Republicans, it may help sway them, although I will have to add my theological reasons for Huckabee being horrible for true Conservative Christians (Orthodox, Catholics, and Lutherans).

If you know of any other good Third Parties, please add them in the comments section and I will add them to the list.  Also, we are seriously at the point where we must also come together in a concerted effort to get this done. Yes, we will continue in the Republican debates / primaries, but we must acknowledge at this point that we started too late with not enough of a professional campaign strategy to make a real impact on the Republican campaign early on. We have learned from our mistakes. This is DO or DIE time: We must start a serious 3rd Party strategy NOW!

So, please, if you truly believe that this can work, like I do, leave comments at the bottom, and then we can get a hard-core organization going strong!!!

There is ONE RNC (Republican National Committee) and ONE DNC (Democratic National Committee). We need ONE UNITED RPC (Ron Paul Committee)!!!

Will the people of Nolan Chart PLEASE start being realistic? I Google Ron Paul every day to get the latest news and I'm tired of reading headlines like "RON PAUL WINS EARTH" or "RON GETS ENDORSEMENT FROM BARACK OBAMA" only to find some insane scheme that "CAN work." These articles A) make Paul supporters look naive and B) give false hope to the more gullible supporters, which leads to disillusionment, which HURTS Ron Paul. Please come to your senses. Thank you.

What about Unity 08?  I hear they're out of money and are at a stand still.  Perhaps a meeting of the minds can take place and those of us that have maxxed out in our campaign contributions can create an influx of donations with a Ron Paul Independent ticket.

The only thing more pathetic than your far-fetched plan is that you predict Ron Paul's third party candidacy (which will not happen) is that it will be McCain-Huckabee vs Clinton-Obama. Your logic isn't even consistent. Please be more realistic about these things.

Ron Paul is not the senile fool people take him for. He is well aware what would happen if he ran as an indie.

Ben,
I'm being totally serious.  I know there are some "kooky" people out there making outlandish statements, but this is far from outlandish.

Everything here is based in fact.  All those quotes are from real people.  The fact is Hillary / Obama / McCain / Huckabee are all the same, and we truly can win as a mass Third Party Conservative anti-war candidate.  60% of the country wants to end the war.  None of the others will do that.  The Republicans are guaranteed to lose in November, it will NOT be Ron Paul's fault, it will be their own.

There is no false hope here.  I specifically make the point that we must have a very serious strategy to do this.

The other candidates have all put their own feet in their mouths - they are handing the election to Ron Paul on a silver platter (quite fitting, actually ;)

What all you naysayers lack is a vision.  The Founding Fathers had a vision, and so does Ron Paul.

Our eyes are wide open.  It's time for the rest of the country to WAKE UP and SEE THE LIGHT!
(Rather than hiding behind the darkness of the war-ravaged nanny-state.)

How is Ron Paul going to get on ballots in all 50 States after the September Republican nominsation?  It is not physically possible to build a winning third part canidacy  in 2 months, especially when  (free) publicity would be non-existent.

I would like to suggest that perhaps the tone of replies to this article are unneccessarily harsh?

However, that being said, third parties do not have any chance at the presidency, simply due to the rather inanely corrupt workings of how it's decided. The best thing for the Libertarian party to do is use Dr. Paul's canidacy to get their message out. I do not see him winning the nomination, much less the election, but I can see a lot more people becoming involved in Libertarian issues.

Logical Premise said it all for me.

I'll add: don't ignore the longshot possibile outcome of a brokered convention, a severely tanking economy, and a delegate split between two "front runners".

And don't forget that this election is but one battle in the much bigger war.

Onward, soldiers.

I think on the surface this is a great idea, using all of the candidates against one another is too funny. If in the end he won't be getting any kind of nod from the Repub's, why not go for broke and use the remaining money for the third party run. By then he'll have solid name recognition and it could happen. Just don't discount anything.

Are you writing this from an alternate dimension?

Report the news, the facts, realistically. You are no better than the mainstream which refuses to report on him.

All people want are accurate, realistic predictions and the truth about what is going on in the world of politics - not this rubbish.

Stay in wonderland all you want but stop making me look like an ass for supporting him.

Why would we want to limit ourselves to a two party system. George Washington warned us of this in his departing address to the nation. The Bull moose or progressive party came in second in 1912, but lost the popular vote to Woodrow Wilson, what a great moment that was for our country. The "State" knows more about 9/11 than they are telling, yet even the govt discounts its own story (see Blowback and the cause of 9/11 published in the 9/11 report, they hate us cause we are free remember) Dr. Paul dispises anything to do with a monarchy or anything else contrary to LIBERTY. LIBERTY or DEATH

All we need is to have 1 million Ron Paul supporters send in 1000 dollars each, and Ron Paul could take 1 hour fireside chats with the American people if he wanted to. Ron Paul must pay for his air time, no one is going to give him free time to get his message out.He is a media black only in America, but the whole world is looking at the only one true candidate, Ron Paul. Ron Paul is getting a hundred times more media coverage in other countries. I can't believe that a Presidential candidate that wants to abolish wasteful spending, income tax and end the war, is in a losing position in this race. If Ron paul is to go "THIRD PARTY", he needs mega cash, not a trifling 4 to 6 million dollar money bomb here and there. The major task is to educate the ignorant, and for that Paul needs massive air time, and for that he needs very large sums of cash and right quick. America is going to have to pay dearly for its freedom, apathy comes with an even more terrible price tag. There is no blood on a vote for Ron Paul, and a donation to the cause of freedom should only fill that giver with pride, and good conscience. As soldier suffers his wounds for his country, a citizen must sacrifice everything for freedom. My house is sold my car is sold, how much do you value your freedom.

Natalie, I wasn't accusing you of not being serious. I was accusing you of putting forth a plan that is totally unrealistic. You're absolutely rgiht that all the other candidates have put their foots in their mouths. All the other candidates come off as sleazy, power-hungry liars (some to a lesser degree than others). But the American people DON'T GET IT. They are not willing to see past the charade. They are blind and delusional. I don't think your plan is ridiculous because I lack vision. I think your plan is ridiculous because the vast majority of voters and members of the media lack vision.

Well its obvious you don't understand the peril this country is in, and this ignorance collectively is fatal to the US economy.

You'll vote for a one of the big spending candidates, that will collapse the dollar, and bring on the depression that America never recovers from.

Do you know that george soros has cashed in his US dollar bonds and investments  ( all of em ) and exchanged it for yuan and euros ?

Tens of thousands of high profile business men are doing this, businesses are trading in yuan and euros, because the dollar isn't worth toilet paper, and is about to collapse.

You are going to get a very rude shock statist, the depression that is coming will far exceed the great depression, and you will wish that Ron Paul was elected president.

No one in this generation understands what a depression is, they can't fathom death by starvation in a western society. Do you realize how many people starved to death in America during the great depression ? Can't happen today you say ?  It couldn't happen in modern America you think ? It will most definately happen, and its not far away.

Even the congressional economic advisers are saying that the most terrible depression is coming to America.

You'll turn to the guy in the soup line and ask "How did this happen ? " And he'll ask " Did you vote for Ron Paul ? "

" No, I just sneered and laughed thinking everything was just fine, and I was totally ignorant of what was happening, man I was so wrong, and so ignorant "

Ok, all you negative people. This may seem far-fetched, however I will NOT be voting for either the Republicans or the Democraps. I am sick of this entire tyrannical dictatorship that this country has devolved into.

You are right - people ARE STUPID. I just found that out by speaking to a friend who agrees that our government is violating the Constitution with warrantless wiretaps. But he doesn't care because "They aren't spying on us - only the terrorists. As long as we don't do anything we are safe." Hello? How the bloody hell do they know who is a terrorist unless they spy on ALL of us?

That idiot is voting for McCain - even though he is for federal funding for destroying embryos (and my friend is pro-life).

Oh yeah, and he thinks I am LYING when I said that McCain wants to stay in Iraq for 100 years.

This is ALL the media's fault - they want McCain to win the nomination so Hillary or Obama can win in November, so they conveniently do not air More Wars McCain's statements.

Whatever. Honestly, I give up. I'm joining the Constitution Party after Tuesday. And I will make a point to mention that at my polling place. Maybe I'll wait until November, just in case a miracle happens at the convention.

Best news just broke - Anne Coulter said she will campaign for Hillary if McCain gets the nomination!!!

Natalie, I don't think it is a far-fetched idea at all.  Ron Paul would get a much larger percentage of the vote running 3rd party than he does running as a Republican.  Also, with Nader getting in, and Bloomberg, why couldn't Ron Paul win?

Also, if Ron ran on a 3rd party ticket and got 15% or more of the vote, wouldn't that help that party get into the debates the next go around?  And it gives more exposure to the message.

Since the Dems and Reps candidates are all the same, Ron Paul wouldn't be throwing the election to the "bad guys" by being 3rd party.

Don't listen to all the naysayers Natalie.  I'm with you and I refuse to give up.  Those naysayers are just lazy.  They just want to sit around and talk about how bad things are.  They don't want to actually do anything.

look, if he ran as a 3rd party candidate his political career would end right there. Dr. Paul is HONEST. he has PLEDGED NOT TO RUN as a 3rd party candidate. he keeps his word, this is why none of the other candidates can really attack him -- he speaks truth and has NEVER lied about anything concerning his campaign. Therefore logic would tell us that Dr. Paul is not even considering running for a 3rd party - he has said he is comitted to supporting the Republican Party if he loses the nomination. (exact quote "I am a republican, came from a republican family, no, I wouldn't think of doing that at all" in MSNBC debate when they asked him about a 3rd party candidacy.

You are hurting Dr. Paul with your stupid idea. People will read this and think Dr. Paul's supporters are more nuts than they already do due to the media blatantly distorting Dr. Paul's record. The best thing you can do is STFU and donate to RP2k8! By executing your idea, Congressman Paul will most likely not win and thus his career will end. If he conceds at the RNC, however, his support (which is really a constitutional movement) will steadily grow as he continues to serve in the House (he'll be reelected fo sho, Dr. No pwns).

Then when the US is EVEN  MORE FUCKED up 4 years from now, THEN people will see the light...well maybe...THEN people will be more likely to see the light and vote RP 2k12, how about that? lol :D

Meanwhile Ron Paul won't be getting any younger.
