True Republicans Band Together

How to act like true Republicans, true American Citizens, and promote Ron Paul
by J. Barbeaux
(Centrist Libertarian)
Wednesday, January 30, 2008

I'm keeping this one short and sweet, people.

Ron Paul is a true Republican. His supporters know it, his policies and voting record proves it, and his opponents only arguments against it are to label him a Libertarian. The time for his supporters to wield civil disobedience at a new level. We want change. We want recognition. We want this to be a race in November, not a landslide Democratic victory.

Paul's campaign is astounding. "Anti-establishment," "frustrated" and "revolutionary" have all been used to describe it. Already other true Republicans have called for the boycott of corporations and news outlets that continue to undermine Ron Paul's message of strict Constitutionalism and equal civil rights for all. Indeed, for a movement that provokes such stirring passion for personal liberties, the powers-that-be will do all that they can to disenfranchise not only the Paul campaign but his supporters and his patriotic beliefs.

We know how Google works. We've seen terrible blogs build momentum and slander Ron Paul's name and campaign time and time again. His supporters are expected to bombard message boards with insults and rants and profanities. The time has come for us to say nothing. These websites are manipulating our power as an organized Revolution. When these blogs fish for us, we must not bite back. When they slander his name, let the truth shine brighter than our anger.

Our job should no longer be to dominate the internet, as some of us have done so well. We should be stumping. We should be campaigning and we should be rallying in every state that has yet to hold its primary. If we show the world what change can be made through peace, then time will who is right. Faceless liars will always have their free speech, but lies fade.

Take to the streets. Let our politics be our voices, let free speech abused be only as powerful as the people who will listen.
