If Ron Paul Loses ... It's Because of His Lame TV Ads

Just compare these two ads, and you'll know what I mean.

I have no idea what the campaign is doing, who makes the dcisions there, and what criteria they use to make their decisions, but one thing is for sure: They do not know what they are doing.

What makes Ron Paul attractive is that he is real, he is himself, he never panders or caters to any segment of the population. In other words: He STANDS OUT from the crowd!

Unfortunately, these super-lame TV ads put him right back in there

Even the most recent ad, which by its title, "The Only One", would lead one to believe that it will make him stand out, is lamest of the lame. Just take a look yourself:

The voice sounds like it's Mitt Romney speaking. No emotional infleaction, no excitement - nothing.

Now compare that to this one.

There isn't even a voice-over, but the message is loud and clear, it has emotional impact because of the music, it is super-short, and very creative.

Somebody should challenge the campaign to give it at least a try. Why shove even more money down some fifth avenue professional ad agency? Those guys are all so connected, it wouldn't surprising if they sold the campaign the lamest ads they can come up with. They sure don't want him to win. The first ad, on the other hand, is 100 percent free.

Ron Paul campaign: CAN YOU HEAR ME?

Very interesting. I have found myself wondering the exact same thing. I mean, the campaign in essentially 100% grassroots. The people fund the campaign, shouldn't they contribute amazing TV ads too? Unless the campaign has a good reason not to do this, I would think it's worth a shot.

I also feel that the ads the campaign has been running don't help much.  I am not as impressed by the ad you selected as you are, but I hope that this and some others will be looked at and possibly adopted.  Personally I would like a short ad in which Paul himself talks about changes he would make.  But this might be too expensive in money and in the candidate's time.

Campaign should be running a contest for 30 second spots.  They hit a nerve on the internet, they need to translate that to television.   Same hot buttons, same reasons.

Check out Jermiah Black's ads on youtube if you're looking for something good.  The Paul campaign refuses to use them and they are the best yet.  Kinda makes me wonder if Dr. Paul is really in it to win when he uses the lame stuff they put out instead.

This is posting is 100% correct. Ten minutes on YouTube will find you hundreds of excellent homemade TV ads. Here's another one:

I have been hearing the radio ads here in San Francisco, and they are not bad. Are the same people doing both radio and TV ads for Dr. Paul?

Ron Paul appeals to kooks more than he does the general population. His TV ads do suck.

kooks are anyone that believes that the United States is becoming a 3rd world country, that Iraq is not improving, and that 9/11 was an inside job.

I pray for you - and the country - that the "kooks" are indeed wrong. If they turn out to be right, I'll contact you again for your esteemed opinion. We will not have to wait long to find out, at least on points (a) and (b).

As to point "b" (Iraq is "improving") please refer to this Washington Times article. Iraqi Oil Revenues Languish at NY Fed.

Looks like not much improvement over there, does it? Also, 2007 had the highest death toll for US soldiers since the beginning of the war. Big improvement, right?
