Ron Paul vs. News Corp Will News Corp ever give Ron Paul a fair hearing? Can we force them to do so?by The English Teacher

Anyone who has paid any attention to the election year knows that Ron Paul has not been given a fair shake by most media outlets. The worst of the bunch has been Fox News, owned by News Corp.
It is looking more and more like Ron Paul won't be able to get his message out to the people in time to make a difference. That's too bad, but at least we know who to blame. A lot of people have called for a boycott of Fox News and its sponsors. I am calling for a much more sweeping and radical solution.
We must boycott all of News Corp's products, services, and sponsors. Additionally, we must make an attempt to take over the company and throw its CEO, Chairman and Founder, Rupert Murdoch out on his assets.
It won't be easy, especially since you don't yet realize the extent to which this company infests the Internet, News Papers, and Television. As just the tip of the iceberg you should know that they own MySpace, the Wall Street Journal, and the Fox Channel.
However, if we can raise more than $6 million in a single day to support Ron Paul, we can accomplish this, too. We can return to a time when we can watch the Simpsons without subsidizing our own slavery.
I don't have all the answers of how this can be accomplished. The beauty of our movement is that it is decentralized and the answers can come from many different minds as we work towards our freedom.
If you agree with the idea in principle, have someone else read this article. Let's see what we can do to tame this beast.

If you're boycotting Fox and its sponsors, then you're going to need either a Constitutional news channel to premiere, or an existing news network (i.e. MSNBC) to offer more Constitutional programming.
I am still going to turn in my cable box when Ron Paul no longer wants to go foward with the campain. I will boycott all the rest, of Fox and their adverts.
Might I point out you'd need to raise 6 million a day for, oh, 10 years to buy out Murdoch from News Corp?
Fox is neocon conservative central, and that's what they're going to cover. Dr. Paul is against everythign they represent, why are you so shocked that he isn't getting coverage from this channel? "Free press" does not mean equal coverage, it means they cover and say what they feel like and what is important.
Logical Premise is right. We could use that energy much more productively if we got the word out through our small, local papers. I sent in an article about the "Google Ron Paul" signs that have recently sprung up in our area. No word yet on publication, but the paper at least is not owned by a major corporation that has something to lose if Ron Paul is elected. I designed the article around the letter that went out in the Ron Paul letter writing campaign http://www.louislogan.com/letters/index.asp
which is also a good way to spread the word about Ron Paul. Instead of bemoaning the unfair treatment, I highlighted the best reasons to vote for him: his honest (which you can prove with a search on FactCheck.org), his commitment to and support from our troops, and his financial expertise (how many of his rivals have budgeted their campaigns as well, and how many have returned a portion of their budgets to the Treasury?). Make sure you include his website so readers can find out more.
We CAN win, but it will take all of us promoting Ron Paul at a local level.
Another possibility is more coverage in local papers, magazines, etc. Wikipedia has EXCELLENT coverage of Dr. Paul, as does YouTube.
FOX and CNN are media bastions, for the neocons and welfare-crats respectively. You're wasting time and effort trying to get your message out there. The people that watch that pap don't have the intellectual capacity to even understand deterministic liberty, much less embrace it.
Ron Paul on Leno was genius, you need more mainstream exposure on that sort of venue.
Or, if you really want to be successful, write in CALM, REASONED and MODEST letters to major news papers for opinion pieces mentioning Ron Paul, and sneak in a link. If you can get a web address in major circulation in the newpapers, that's worth it.
And it's a lot more realistic than challenging the LARGEST NEWS COMPANY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD with a movement of less than 10 million people at best.
