At the last Fox debate Ron Paul was asked a question, which was meant to discount his electability, disrespect and smear his candidacy, and it seems, to give Giuliani another opportunity to cackle on national TV like an idiot. But instead, Congressman Paul gave a great answer. At the re-broadcast, Fox, "fair and balanced, we report you decide", cut his answer out of the re-broadcast. In NH they didn’t include him in the debate, even though he has raised more money (from individuals, no less.....not tons of PAC or corporate $$ like the others) than the other Republicans. And, he has lots of support. At a prior debate, FOX tried the same BS tactic by asking him if he takes his marching orders from Al Qaeda, and he responded by saying, "no, I take my marching orders from the Constitution". Pretty good answer, in my opinion! (I seem to remember something about an oath of office!)
This is only one of many, many examples of how the media, and ultimately those in control, don’t want his message to get out. This is not only my opinion, but it is a fact. Thirty minutes of research on the internet will show you. CNN, MSNBC, and all of the other major networks have treated him with total disrespect, in addition to being thoroughly disingenuous when "explaining" Dr. Paul’s views and positions. It has nothing to do with his "kooky" ideas or his 30 year record in Congress. He is a major threat to the establishment corruption, the good old boy network.
I venture to say that Americans probably spend more time researching the purchase of a new car, TV, house, etc. than they do picking the next President! If Americans would research his positions with an open, objective mind, I feel he would win in a landslide. And that research is very easy to do on the internet. His Congressional website, Google, YouTube, and tens of other sites will give you a much different view than the "fair and balanced" mainstream media.
He is not perfect; nobody is. But, he isn’t a lip service politician like the rest of them. All of his positions are well documented for the past three decades, and he has proven that he is not a panderer or a flip flopper. His positions are based on his logical beliefs as they relate to the Constitution. Yes, that "living document", or as GWB referred to it as "just a god damn piece of paper". Oh yea, I guess you could also call it that document that was written by real patriots that is the basis for our Country, our laws, and our basic principles of freedom. Remember, it says "We the People", not "them the Government"! Don’t be sucked in by the media disinfo. Don’t be a good Republican or Democrat or whatever, be a good American. Divide and conquer is the M.O. that is used by those who love power. Don’t fall for it. Research and critical thinking is what sound decisions are made of.
I just hope that the people of this country investigate all candidates thoroughly before making a choice. And, I know I might be preaching to the choir here, but for those of you not in the choir........!
There, now I feel better!
Now, what goes best with a 6 pack? Football, Oprah, Springer, American Idol, etc. Boy, decisions decisions!
To assist those who would like to do some research, here are some sites, in no particular order. (I figured out the hyperlinks!)

Good article. If Goebels (Hitler's propaganda minister) had access to TV like today's MSM, we would all be speaking German today. One of the major challenges we face is to "unglue" the zombies out there from the kind of garbage fed to them by the media. Thank heaven that the internet finally arrived (thanks to its inventor, Al Gore) giving us an alternative. It took a couple of generations to create the zombies - change willl not happen ovenight. We now graduate high schoolers that can't read their diploma. It's interesting, though, that the young generation has added a new verb to our language: "to text, texting, texted, etc". Maybe somehow they will be persuaded to read the classics, which teach you how to think.
