"Presidential hopeful John McCain - who has been known for his volatile temper, erupted in an angry, profanity-laced tirade at a fellow Republican senator last week.
The insult came during a heated dispute over immigration-law overhaul, McCain screamed, "F_ _k you!" at Texas Sen. John Cornyn, who had been raising concerns about the legislation. "This is chicken s_ _ t," McCain snapped at Cornyn, according to several people in the room off the Senate floor Thursday. "You've always been against this bill, and you're just trying to derail it." (Charles Hurt, "Raising McCain," New York Post, 5/19/07)
In 2000, Sen. McCain Ran An Attack Ad Comparing Then-Gov. George W. Bush To Bill Clinton. SEN. MCCAIN: "I guess it was bound to happen. Governor Bush's campaign is getting desperate, with a negative ad about me. The fact is, I'll use the surplus money to fix Social Security, cut your taxes and pay down the debt. Governor Bush uses all of the surplus for tax cuts, with not one new penny for Social Security or the debt. His ad twists the truth like Clinton. We're all pretty tired of that. As president, I'll be conservative and always tell you the truth. No matter what." McCain Ad 2000, Campaign Ad, 2/9/00; www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHoXkCprdL4
Sen. McCain Repeatedly Called Sen. Pete Domenici (R-NM) An "A_ _hole", Causing A Fellow GOP Senator To Say, "I Didn't Want This Guy Anywhere Near A Trigger." "Why can't McCain win the votes of his own colleagues?
To explain, a Republican senator tells this story: at a GOP meeting last fall, McCain erupted out of the blue at the respected Budget Committee chairman, Pete Domenici, saying, "Only an A_ _hole would put together a budget like this." Offended, Domenici stood up and gave a dignified, restrained speech about how in all his years in the Senate, through many heated debates, no one had ever called him that. Another senator might have taken the moment to check his temper. But McCain went on: "I wouldn't call you an A_ _hole unless you really were an a A_ _hole."
The Republican senator witnessing the scene had considered supporting McCain for president, but changed his mind. "I decided, the senator told Newsweek, I didn't want this guy anywhere near a trigger." (Evan Thomas, et al., "Senator Hothead," Newsweek, 2/21/00)

McCain screams "Emmanuel Goldstien" way too often. I hope that the American public got a good look at his fangs at the FL debate. I bet his answer (was Iraq worht the blood and treasure) would be different if it was one of his kids that had spilled their blood.
McCaino the insano wants to be in Iraq for 100yrs? What do you think his answer would be if someone asked him about being in Vietnam for hundred years say after 3 yrs in the Hanoi Hilton. I bet he would say, Hell yeah lets be here for 100yrs. BS. I bet he would really say, "Won't someone stand up and end this madness"? What happened? Did the beat the sense out him? Dont get me wrong as a vet I have TREMENDOUS respect for what he alledgedly went through at the hands of his captors as a POW. BUT you cant have my kids. I have already done 3 yrs in Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan. My blood line has already stepped up to this one, you cant have my kids. I will send them to Holland before then, then I can fight the fight without worrying about them and their safety.
LIBERTY or DEATH
Had a friend who was a hotel manager in Las Vegas several years ago. He got a call from the front desk that a man was yelling at the young woman who was assisting in his check out. The man was talking to the desk clerk like a drill sergeant, berating her about his hotel bill and speaking very condescendingly to her as she cried. That man was John McCain. So when I see stories about his temper, and I know the honesty of my friend telling the story, I believe it.
