Ron Paul: MSNBC's Jan 24 Florida Republican Debate--a very bright light at the very end of a very dark two hour tunnel... If you didn’t stick with the debate’s media post commentary to its bitter end you missed the Ron Paul grand finale...by Michael

Yes, the recent Florida Republican debate was deplorable; it was unfair; it was to be expected. Ron Paul was given only half the time of some and less than a third the time as others. I'm just glad that he was there and that he made the most of what scant opportunity was given him. Twice he elicited a vocal response and applause with what brief discourse he was allowed...
After the debate the gray-haired, talking head media succubuses highlighted the campaigns of four out of five of the participants in the debate--odd, that the Paul faction was excluded--again deplorable, unfair and to be expected...
During all of the blah, blah, blah debate post commentary they ran a MSNBC cell phone text poll--you could call in and choose the candidate who you thought won the debate...
If you didn't stick with the debate's media post commentary to its bitter end (which was admittedly hard to do given its deplorable, unfair, to be expected nature) you missed the Ron Paul grand finale...
As the programming wrapped up, in the final closing seconds, MSNBC's Chris Matthews announced the results of their cell phone poll. You could tell that he had intended to hype up the results but was at the same time taken back by the results--Ron Paul had come in at the closest possible second in their own poll!!! Romney came in at 41% and Ron Paul came in at 40%!!! The other three divided the spoils with pathetic single digit results! Matthews said something like; this is unexpected, sort of opposite ends of the spectrum, blah, blah, blah...
This was sweet! This was a good nightcap to an otherwise deplorable, unfair and to be expected media manipulated event!
Of course the media pundits will shrug this off as over-zealous Paul supporters responding in unison and calling in more than once--can you spam a cell phone poll? Just as they will the vocal responses and applause to Paul's statements during the debate--GREAT!!! A vocal and mobilized minority can win an election--but this is more than that. The vocal and mobilized Silent Majority can definitely win an election--maybe, in this instance, the Silent Majority shouted!
Keep on hoping (and working) for America's only Hope--Ron Paul...

I voted in the phone poll and as soon as I voted I was sent a text meggage that my vote was counted and that I could not vote agian. To be honest , I think the text message votes are more honest then the primary votes have been. I di not watch the post debate coverage. To be honest the MSM just makes me sick.
