Ron Paul and Media Bias: Are You Mad As Hell Yet? Ron Paul is once again "dissed," this time by MSNBC at the Florida Republican Debate. Is the media your matrix? Are you programmed yet? Or are you Mad as Hell?by creator

McCain: 16 minutes even (12 answers and asked 1 question)
Giuliani: 13 minutes and 50 seconds (10 answers and asked 1 question)
Huckabee: 12 minutes and 11 seconds (8 answers and asked 1 question)
Paul: 6 minutes and 31 seconds (5 answers and asked 1 question)
Just who made the decision to divide the time this way? Was it an accident? Tell me why Ron Paul's graphic almost never appears on the news screen when the so called mainstream media is reporting on any election or poll results even if Paul finishes second. When Paul finished second in Nevada, some of the Media only showed the first, third and fourth place candidates' photos. Why was Paul's photo absent when he finished 3rd? Why did Fox News exclude Ron Paul from the New Hampshire Republican Debate?
People, are you doing what you are supposed to be doing? Are you thinking like the tube, dressing like tube, eating like the tube and being the tube? Are you programmed yet? Are you prepared to pick the next dictator of America preordained by the ruling class? Or are you mad as hell and have you decided not to take it anymore?
I suggest every time the media decides to kill the freedom message that you do something about it. Go to Ron Paul 2008 and donate to the campaign.
Ron Paul's message of freedom, of sound money, and an end to imperialism will not be silenced no matter how hard the media tries.

Uh no, this is actually a good thing. The minute that they are worried about him, all of the socialist pundits will criticize his stamping no on everything. The conservative pundits will make fun of his defence strategy like I have.
The last thing that we want is for this guy to get torn to shreads. It will happen when he becomes a threat to the establishment.
Tell the Media that for each time they ignore Ron Paul, you will take what money you would have spent on their sponsors and give it to the Paul campaign. Put it in writing to the networks AND their sponsors.
It won't do anything to add to his well-deserved air time, but it sure will add to his well-deserved campaign funds!
You think that a letter from some crazed Ron Paul supporter will get the massive media to change? Look at what the christians have done to this country, look at what the socialists who dominate the media do to public influence. This is something that Limbaugh has pointed out for years. The mass media does not care about 1 million or so Ron Paul supporters, they just don't. We need to come back to reality people. Flying Spaghetti Monster!
Being a libertarian for the last 35 years, I've been very upset with the mainstream media. However. because of Ron Paul, I've heard the word "libertarian" more in the last six months in the media than I've heard it the last 34 and 1/2 years.
I'm praying that this liberty movement goes beyond this election and starts a new paradigm shift
The reason that the media doesn't like Ron is because, if he were elected, most of the things that they write about would gradually disappear. There would be no war, no peace marches, no military presence somewhere, no stock market upheaval, no mortgage crisis, no collapsing dollar, no illegal intelligence agency spying, no tax debates, no interest rate drops, no deficit, no national debt, no job loss, no North American Union, no Mideast conflict, no lobbyist corruption, no energy crisis, no theft of social security funds, no nation building, no payments to dictators, no illegal aliens, and not enough left of the federal government to make a story with.
Imagine having to travel to the Congo to earn a living reporting on a human condition.
My first thought was to block fox news so their ratings would go down. But we would have to block all of the news media because they are all participating in this bias against Ron Paul. We could contact all of the sponsors of these programs and let them know that we will not buy any of their products because they support bias news reporting. Big job. Even radio and newspapers are doing the same thing. Our only avenue to take this kind of thing on is to continue to financially support RP, talk to our neighbors, friend, etc to vote for him in all of the upcoming states until it comes to the point of a brokered convention. At that point RP will have leverage with the deligates he wins. In the mean time keep pinging on these biased media programs. Send several emails each day, complaining about their bias reporting. Continue to send money to Ron Paul 2008. We can take this all the way. We can have an impact on who is elected. And if it is not RP, he will have the power to help determine the platform of the Republican Party.
All of you guys have lost your minds. This is exactly why I have said that Ron Paul needs to play the game. I swear, you people must be building bomb shelters for Ron Paul's fallout. We need to focus on the smaller local electrions and infiltrating the department of education. Otherwise all of you are going to remain in the sad state of existence that you are in now.
Well, I'll ignore the reply comments which are rather unrealistic, and look at the article :
Until the MSM believes Dr. Paul has a chance, they are unlikely to "waste" air-time on him. Since the conventional wisdom of the MSM is "focus on the candidate with the most appeal", air time on Ron Paul (which the MSM clearly does not support and thinks will lose) is nothing suprising.
As to his picture not appearing when he had a second place finish, well, that's just pretty blatant if it happened.
As to people's response? I think most people don't know or care about what Dr. Paul's positions are. A majority of this country is sheep, you are surprised they baaah along compliantly instead of choosing to see your "truth"?
True that. Anyone should notice how stupid it is for a black man to vote for a democrat. 92% of them do despite the party's racist history and the Republican Party's history on slavery, civil rights act of 1964, and thier northern ties.
Statist,
I understand your position, but as I said before it is too late for Dr. Paul to change his message. The MSM will not give him any face time and certainly not get behind him at this point. And without that, Joe Sixpack (walking dead) will never consider him. At this point the most to hope for is victory (unlikely) or a brokered convention with an overwhelming support group trying to influence the results.
And, I do get mad at the obvious bias by the MSM.
The blackout could backfire. I've been reading posts on others sites from non-Paul supporters who recognize an obvious effort to stifle him...leading to some genuine curiousity to looking into Paul a little further.
It is very obvious that MSNBC is partcipating in the nation wide media black out against candidate
Ron Paul. The national media is controlled by the CFR. The CFR is controlled by the centeral bank system {the fed.}. Ron Paul is a threat to the fed ,therefore the CFR orders the news stations that it owns to minimlize the coverage of congressman Paul. It is painfully obvious to all of us who are Ron Paul supporters that he is effectivly being blacked out by the major media in the United States.
It is absoulity shamefull that the major media ,has traded "freedom of the press" for "bought and paid for" by banks and corporations. Ron Paul is a serious contender in this election and those of us who know about him will spread the word. It's too bad that Americans cannot believe what our main source of information reports to us any more. It borders on treasonist.

How many of you noticed Tucker Carlson during the post debate round up having to bite his lip and compliment the Huckster even though he knows the best man is Dr. Paul? He is between a rock and a hard place.
ALL the candidates except Ron Paul are financed by Goldman Sachs, the ones foreclosing on people's houses & wrecking the economy while making HUGE personal profits. They are also supported by BIG media. It's all there on opensecrets dot org Ron Paul's main supporters are US Army, US Navy and US Air Force.... think about that.
Thursday, the day of the Republican debate, U.S.A.Today had a front-page photo of 4 of the 5 debaters - can you guess which debater's photo was missing? And why aren't the other 4 commenting on this and showing they are concerned about justice? Silly me.
Response to commenters here:
1. Web Smith - very smart observation.
2. Statist - you're a NolanChart troll who always makes the nastiest - and stupidest - responses to favorable articles about Dr. Paul. Get out of your basement and get some fresh air.
Donate works- I also gave them a piece of my mind at: letters@msnbc.com
Let them know if we decide to watch this network, that we are keeping track of their bias and just as important, their sponsors.
Demand fairness in the form of an apology- or better yet allocation of airtime in the form of free statements or interviews for those who were shortchanged.
Yes-Rudy & Huckster too; put your best cards down boys and let the chips fall where they will.

Mad as hell? Um, kinda, but I've been around listen'n to this sh*t since the early '80s after tracking the '70s with politically concerned folks.
So it's just SoS as usual from the "media", I voiced my opinion on www.danielscochran.com/dscblog/ about the Jan 24th 2008 debate which showed all the press shoving thier candidate in our face.
Now that Thompson dropped they seem to be pushing Romney as "thier" choice.
When will the "sheep" start investigating the facts, stances, and track records of the candidates.
I did not know who Ron Paul was before December. As the SC primary came closer, I began to review who and what was being said by the candidates and what I heard was what I have been asking/pray'n for years. Smaller government, power to the states, and most of all save our worth (dollar).
Write to the FCC about Dr. Paul's censorship. The media is supposed to be fair and objective. If there are enough complaints against a channel, the FCC can pull their license. I am keeping copies of articles to support each complaint I send to the FCC.
Don't get mad, get even. Write, or email your complaints to the FCC. Maybe if the local affiliates loose their licenses, NBC will loose money. After all, the airwaves belong to the public.
Why are we afraid to put Ron Paul Bumper Stickers on our cars? I had a hard time getting my "cafepress" Ron Paul Tee shirts and buttons. MOre than a month.... so I know how hard it is to get these items.
I wrote "Ron Paul ya'll" on the back window of my car with white shoe polish and drove from Baton Rouge, LA to Garberville, CA.
I now have a real bumper sticker, but I just keep the shoe polish sign. Lots and lots of people see it.
Cops like Ron Paul, they turn their blue lights on and wave. Scared me to death a few times :)
The main stream media may not advertise for Dr. Paul. That;'s okay, we will just do it ourselves. "We Can Do It", said Rosy the Riviter. UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL" Do we remember that?
We have a Constitution, a Bill of Rights and a Declaration of Independence. We are the People those documents were written for and passed on to us.
America is running for President and Ron Paul is our voice. I found that "gem" on the net, written by someone else :(
Please, Put "Ron Paul, ya'll - 2008 " or something /anything and "they" will know who our choice is.
The internet is BIG we reach a lot of people. I am retired, I can take people to vote, I can get them registered I can be a full time volunteer. All of us can donate $1.00 to our candidate. We don't need their money, we have our own. We are the people, this is our government.
Ron Paul begin to lead us out of this mess, who knows, maybe Jesus will come back and bail us out, like the religionist say. If not we will at least be doing something. I've always believed that "God helps those who help themselves" I just don't look all that good in a burka and I can't draw well enough to speak chinese. There is a reason I live here in this great nation and I'm willing to fight to keep it. Ron Paul will stand up for our Constitution, our Bill of Rights and our Declaration of Independence.
He will bring every one of our troops home and put them on our borders. We will find every ILLEGAL in our country and deport them. We will turn around , or we will be overtaken by China. WE can't afford to buy their stuff, they are killing us with it, if we could afford the cheap garbage.
Please vote for Dr. Ron Paul, If we won't we had better start taking some Chines and mexican lessons. I just can't sit on my ass and say "Jesus is coming" I'm just going to sit here and wait. No, I just can't do that.
We only have one right left and that is the one to vote and I will stand up and vote for Ron Paul, will you???
Well said! Contracts consist of a term, consideration or payment, and the meeting of the minds. The last will and testament of Jesus is just such a contract. The term is eternal, the meeting of the minds is to meet Him on His terms, and the payment; well that was another problem. Since He created us what could we give him to atone for our sins? The answer was clear, nothing! It was obvious that He would have to pay the price for us Himself! So, He came and paid it on the cross! As He said, "It is finished." Given such a precious gift, why should He come back again?
He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Getting our country back is up to us, just as you say.
Yes as I said Jesus was a statist. I will enjoy hell. But while on earth I will not condemn homosexuality like Jesus and his disciples told us to. I will not restrict myself or others in the name of the invisble tyrant.
We are sometimes making fun of poor countries like in South America and the 3rd world where they cannot hold an election, where there's media maniputation, totalitarism, corruption, voter fraud
But guess what here in the great America it's all the same, the media tries to manipulate us, tries to hide Mr Ron Paul, and dictate our vote, we are the 3rd world too!
