Veterans Prefer Ron Paul Over John McCain Award-winning Documentary Questions McCain's "Straight Talk"by mediator

Monday, January 21, 2008
Many veterans believe they get far more "straight talk" and action from Ron Paul than they get from John McCain.
John Holland, the founder of Rolling Thunder, a leading advocacy organization for troops, veterans, and POW/MIAs that brings a rally of 500,000 to Washington, D.C., each year, delivered an enthusiastic endorsement of Congressman Paul:
And how is John McCain going to fare against Clinton/Obama in the general election when the stunning facts of "Missing, Presumed Dead: The Search For America's POWs" are headlined?
Here is an excerpt from the the January 18, 2008, press release of this award-winning documentary:
"Missing Presumed Dead," which won two film festival "Best Documentary" awards, explores McCain's successful attempt to pass a stealth bill in the Senate which effectively keeps his POW records sealed in perpituity and provides insight into why he does not want these records ever to be made public - including the revelation of the many propaganda radio broadcasts he delivered for the North Vietnamese. The film also explains why McCain's refusal of early release from a North Vietnamese POW camp had a less than honorable motive.
The charges against McCain are revealed in the documentary by such political luminaries as former New Hampshire Senator Bob Smith; Jesse Helms' chief of staff, Dr. James Lusier; former Congressman Bob Dornan; U.S. Senate lead investigator, Tracy Usery; and author, Dr. Joseph Douglass, Jr. "

it is already happening, this is why you don't see much news about Iraq as you used to. It has calmed down.
The troops say your welcome, but you might forget to say thank you.
thank you for what? for wasting all my tax dollars on something that has done nothing good for the US except make private contractors and the military industries more wealthy?
just come home. even 1 troop death per month is in vain. this whole thing has been a sham. and we are less safe because of it.
Yep, it must be nice to live in a dream world. Remember how Vietnam Vets felt upon comming home from Vietnam. Therapist made all kinds of money off of the way thier fellow Americans treated thier "loss". An early pullout would do the same.
The US military has killed 6x more people than Saddam ever did if the 600,000 estimate is to be believed. And in the process we've created more terrorists than ever before. You kill someone over there and you just piss off 10 more sons, brothers, nephews, and uncles.
And even if Iran gets a nuke...big deal? Many other countries have nukes. They are 3rd world and they have no Navy. What are they going to do, fly it over to the US on a balsa wood airplane? And they can't attack Israel because even they know that would be foolish when Israel has 300 nukes.
What is more likely to happen is the terrorists could smuggle nuclear material over our unpatrolled borders. Thank god our patrol guards are in Iraq though instead of protecting us back home. Thank god they are creating more terrorists overseas faster than we can kill them.
The Ba'ath party? oh god. I suppose you want to attack Syria someday now too?
The constitution doesn't provide for us to be a world-policing empire and mingle in the affairs of other nations. That's exactly what caused 9-11 in the first place. If we hadn't been mingling in the middle-east starting with Iran in 1953, none of this would've happened.
Statist is a paid troll working for one of the other campaigns. Recently, he has been the first poster on all Nolan Chart articles. He has found a free zone to bash Ron Paul. Hit jobs for hire.
Iran is actually richer than you might immagine. They are frequently seen on Al-Jazeera English over here. There are Americans and Britons working in Iran. The population is well educated. Iran's leader though proved how big of an idiot that he was when he built a highway for the 5th Imam to travel when he comes down from heaven.
Why is it so hard for you people to see that a libertarian can bash Ron Paul for his non-libertarian views?
The statist - You are free to have your opinion, at least until the "domestic terrorist bill kicks in... I do not
agree with you that we belong in Iraq. It seems we have adopted Hitler's pre-emptive war policy.
For the heck of it what "current reason" are we in Iraq for? I've lost count of all of the various reasons for being there...help me out please. While you're at it please explain how waterboarding isn't torture. Please explain why we are at war under the direction of our President (our king?) and why we continue to ignore our Constitution? Please explain why we borrow money from China to give to a dictator in Pakistan to support a war for "democracy" in Iraq...Please explain the connection between Haliburton, missing money, no bid contracts and
Dick Cheney. Please explain why Sadaam was our buddy in the 1980's and how he "became evil" ? Please explain why we tout "human rights" yet we are tight with Saudi Arabia? Please explain why if the 9/11 terrorists are Saudi's we attack Afghanistan and Iraq? Please explain why we decide to "spread democracy" in countries that have oil, but ignore African genocide?
Please explain why Ron Paul gets more money from active military than any of the NEO-CON chicken hawk candidates ?
Speaking of chicken hawks... Oh yeah...any luck finding GW Bush "missing" military records? I'd ask for Cheney's too, but apparently his only weapons training comes at the expense of his attorney on a hunting trip, he was uh "busy" during the uh "Vietnam conflict"...When you're done with this homework asignment, I'll give you some more.
Ron Paul receives more donations from military personell than any other candidate. It is time to wake up and stop believing the crap you see on Fox news. The government does not have our best interest at heart. Anyone that thinks this should see this video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=UuPUFRusOBo
We have been lied to again and again. We have lost more people in Iraq than the trade towers. It makes no sense. The draft is inevitable. Are you ready to sacrifice your sons and grandsons? Our country will collapse in the next 10 years because of the cost of this war, anyway. It really doesnt matter what you think. It will end, regardless of how. History teaches us this.
Statist, assuming you're on the up and up about being in Iraq I'm gonna say thanks for signing on the dotted line and sticking your ass out for us. I was in during the Clinton downsizing and come from a family tradition of military service.
If you don't want to support Dr. Paul its cool, I just wonder why the hell you feel the need to constantly run him down? He swore the same oath you did; to uphold and defend the constitution. And unlike any other candidate he has stood by that oath. Honestly I don't have a clue who else you could be supporting as a military man, because none of the others truly stands behind the troops (I'm assuming that the trailers for "Missing, presumed dead" have at least 10% truth behind them).
McCain refused to hear testimony on P.O.W.s
Giuliani is heavily criticized by the NYPD & NYFD (the closest to soldiers he's ever gotten)
Romney would tell anyone anything to get elected and would immorally broker our military power in a split second.
Clinton was an architect of the 90s drawdown, and gave the miltary Tri-care.
I don't know any specifics on Huckabee, Edwards, or Obama, but if I were still carrying an M203 for a living I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want either of them in charge.
Honestly, who the hell are you pulling for that is better? I've seen you give short shrift to Dr. Paul, but I haven't seen you give any opinion on who would be a better choice?
