Ron Paul: It’s Time Now to Fan the Flame (or give it up altogether) for the Future

If we who support Ron Paul and what he stands for as a Republican candidate for the 2008 Presidential election are smart we will also at this time be looking outside the box of the 2008 Presidential election and begin now to look strategically as to what is needed in order for this Revolution to survive beyond the 2008 election.

Ron Paul: It's Time Now to Fan the Flame (or give it up altogether) for the Future

If we who support Ron Paul and what he stands for as a Republican candidate for the 2008 Presidential election are smart we will also at this time be looking outside the box of the 2008 Presidential election and begin now to look strategically as to what is needed in order for this Revolution to survive beyond the 2008 election.

Ron Paul has struck a resonating, harmonious chord with the silent majority of American citizens.

Via the internet he has created a campaigning, fund-raising juggernaut. He has garnered an amazing grass roots element together and galvanized them into an organization of nationwide support which is organized precinct by precinct.

Part I: We've got to, strategically, carry it to the next level NOW..

So what if he wins the Presidency? What can he accomplish without the support of Congress?

At least 60 % of the current Congress are Council on Foreign Relations members! (Investigate that for yourself if you don't know what that alleges). What kind of headway could he make in the way of reforms desperately needed for the survival of our sovereign nation against this stacked deck of cards!?! Who comprises the Congress? Those whom we (the people) elect precinct by precinct, district by district in our individual states.

So what if he loses in his bid for Presidency? Does the Revolution die then and there?

NO!!!

Not if we go on to utilize this current campaign organization to bring the Revolution a step beyond the 2008 Presidential election by keeping it in tact and from it picking individuals to run for Congressional seats who share in Ron Paul's Christian, Constitutional and traditional Conservative beliefs!

"Grass roots"=from the bottom up. Ron Paul's grass roots campaign machine doesn't have to end with Ron Paul whether he win or lose! In fact if he wins it has to stay in tact to follow through by promoting and electing to office the Congressional support that he will need in order to turn around the errant course that our politicians have taken us upon for over a century! This same grass roots association of peoples can continue on to put forth Congressional prospects with the same beliefs and elect them to office!!!

And not only on the national level. State Governors and State Congressman should also subscribe to the same ideals! Find your candidate at the grass roots level and elect them to office!

Can you imagine the backlash!?! Win or lose the Presidency, but the Ron Paul Revolution can still proceed!!!

I think that this is what really scares the Globalistic "powers that be" about Ron Paul and his Revolution--it could quite easily get out of hand and beyond their control and move beyond the arena of the Presidential election only--let's hope and pray that it does indeed!!!

The election of a State Governor, a State Representative; the election of a US House of Representatives Congressman or a State Senator--it's easy to blackball, exclude, ignore and denigrate a high profile Presidential candidate in their mainstream media--but for them to put enough dogs out to cover all the bases of a grass roots, ground swell Revolution from the precinct to the district to the State to the US Congressional seats would stretch their influence thin beyond its ability! The foundation of the silent majority that makes this undeniably possible is there--we have but to tap into it!

Ron Paul's bid for the Presidency has precipitated an organization that is really capable of following through in this fashion! Strike while the iron is hot!!!!--or forever be (coerced) to hold your peace!!!

We're already in the thick of it; we who support his bid for President. This has to be the first priority. But strategically, if the principles are to succeed (beyond the man), it has to be carried on to the Congressional elections.

Likewise, if any other candidate other than Ron Paul wins (Republican or Democrat) they will consequently have only a (relatively) narrow two year window of opportunity to finalize the bids of their Globalist masters before a strategic grass roots, ground swell of Congressional opposition will be installed to thwart them.

Part II: The Minority (that is really the silent majority) Can Win--if it will but get up off its ass and vote...

This is a sad but true story about a true minority that joined together and successfully elected to office someone who the true majority would never have elected into office (but the majority of the true majority didn't bother to vote).

I know that it's true. I had personal experience of it.

In a very small and obscure precinct of a very small and obscure county of a very obscure state (though it did produce a two term, Democratic party President) a member of the chronic marijuana- using community therein decided he would run for Constable. He made it known to all of his chronic marijuana-using associates that he was going to do so and encouraged them to vote for him. In their chronic marijuana-influenced state of mind they all thought that this was such a brilliant and grand design so they did it--they all went to the polls and voted for their chronic marijuana- using friend and he was elected to the position of Constable of their obscure precinct in their obscure county of their obscure state--they were a true minority in the precinct, but since the true majority didn't bother to get up off of its complacent ass and vote to install the Constable of their choice the chronic marijuana-using citizen was now their Constable. In this case a minority of the population succeeded in installing its choice into public office by joining together and getting out the vote...

Now I will allow that complacency has been fostered in our nation; real education has been intentionally substandard and the media controlled towards a subversive objective--but hey, it's down to the wire--SCREAM REAL LOUD NOW--or forever be (coerced) to hold your peace...

In His Love,

Michael

Recipe for Ron Paul victory 1. Money, the campaign has to have money and a lot of it. Give on Monday 1/21/08. Money talks and we have a lot of talking to do yet. 2. Will, we the people must have willed. Our personal and children’s future depends on our will the next few months. 3. Wisdom, knowing when to fight, reason, question, ponder, think every day for victory now. 4. Guts, this fight is bloody, hard, nasty, cruel, unfair, and not pretty. That is what war is all about. Our fellow military citizens are fighting a psychical battle every day around the world. We need to get some BALLS like them, realize the battle we are in, get a grip and make this victory happen. Moaning is for the weak of heart couch potato folks, game boy fans who are not ready for life. Now get with it everyone.

Why "Christian" values? What is so moral about lying to children?

How about just "moral" values, since we all know that morality has far out-paced the Bible in the history of human evolution?

NICE DREAM...Unfortunately you are counting on an overwhelmingly ignorant and lazy population who are too dumb to see the truth. Too many things have been let to slide (Iran/Contra...etc.) in our slow "tip toe to totalinarianism" for us to backtrack a little and hope the system doesn't implode before it gets fixed. Maybe if more people had listened to Dr. Paul and his ilk 30 years ago we could have reveresed the tide and saved the USA...30 plus years of incessant propaganda from the mainstream "media" and the people aren't up for what it will take to save humanity.

We will not win overnight.

Remember Robert the Bruce's spider.

We can not give up the fight although at times it is discouraging.

Anything worth having will not come easily and for those who came before us often gave their lives.  It will not take a majority to turn our land around only a group that cares more than the rest.

Well I yet live there is hope.

Where is the precint with the dope-smoking pot-heads?  It's likely a nicer place now.

"In their dim, one bulbed, pothead state of mind"  is slanderous bigotry, no different than the kind of ignorant maliscious bigotry that once lynched black people.

Currently, this drug bigotry is stuffing them into the prison-industrial complex, a modern and far more profitable lynching.

I am quite certain that most marijuana users can out-think and out-produce this bigot.

I believe Mr. Reading was a little harsh, but essentially correct. I don't believe the Karl Rovian comments about Bill Clinton were needed. The rest of Michael's comments I tend to agree with and hope if Dr. Paul is not successful, the grassroots continue to do as you say and elect people that meet Dr. Pauls convictions.

We need to combat negativity while recognizing the gravity of our situation.

Michael and the others who advocate keeping the movement alive and growing are right.  Those who are willing to concede a few details of different styles or modes of expression to the greater good are right.  The last thing we need to do now is try to duke it out on a myriad of tiny issues!  There's way too much work for each of us w/o taking time to bicker among ourselves!

We need to keep learning and to take over the whole political process as Michael says.  We need to read our Constitution, recognize that its purpose is to limit and define government, and then put it back to work for us!

To do that, we need to recognize the tremendous possibilities!   Ron Paul as President would have power to overcome an adversarial Congress to this extent: He should be able to use the same executive orders to undo all the unConstitutional things prior Presidents have implemented using those "powers."

The American public would be thrilled to learn that all the bickering and posturing about Roe v. Wade could be eliminated:  All Congress would have to do is remove Supreme Court jurisdiction from such domestic issues and let each state pass whatever laws it wished in that area (US Const. Article 3, section 2 [Congressional control over what kinds of appellate issues the Supreme Court is allowed to handle]).  Once the sitting politicians realized they could no longer hide behind nine people in black robes, their game would be up. They could no longer pretend to be helpless / blameless.

President Paul might find that some of the "enemy" are really just cowards who would change their stripes to go with the winner -- such types being untrustworthy enough, but still potential allies for short-term projects or single votes, etc.

Then, when he has brought home our troops, and secured our borders, he can tell el presidente in Mexico to fix his own country instead of trying to break ours by sending in his hordes of invaders! Paul should be able to stop the SPP / North American Union without Congressional input b/c these things were all supposedly done w/o their approval. He should be able to veto any funding for internationalist stuff, including the UN itself.

He could veto support and funding for the Department of Education, etc.

Imagine a country with free local schools, schools in the tradition of the Northwest Ordinance of 1787 -- no more federal interference (via Title this or Title that funds being used as carrot and stick)! -- Schools where children could compete!  Where they'd be expected to learn to read, write and figure, and teachers would be free to teach them!

In his inaugural address, he could allay fears and explain why Paulonomics works; explain why the silver and gold were being returned to the rightful owners who could proceed with minting an alternate (real) money supply!

[All while wearing kevlar and having his meals at home, I guess!]

Anyway, we each have our work cut out for us -- campaigning, educating and researching for starters!  But lets all get together and pull in the same direction!  We can always argue (discuss) our differences when we're too old to pull at the oars, but for now, lets row the ship of state toward FREEDOM!  And put up the sails (or install the steam engines or fire up the nukes?) of a new Congressional ship worthy of the Founders!  And prepare to repel boarders -- no back-biters, statists, or collectivists need apply!

Cheerio!  --Ruth
