The inferiority of the neo-conservative movement is discussed. Ron Paul is our best defense against this perverted ideal. by Fearless Citizen

Ron Paul has many opponents. That statement alone should get your brain going and asking the question "Why?" It's not that difficult to explain because his opposition are the people that were the playground bullies when you were a kid. We all know them, the ones that weren't smart enough to finish their own school work but just smart enough to know that they were physically stronger than you or that they could outnumber you with their friends. It's true, the neo-conservative movement has taken control using their "bully" tactics. They are people like Leo Krauss, Alan Bloom, Irving Kristol, Bill Kristol, Richard Perle, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, etc. The list is long. These are people who truly believe in the philosophy of "shoot first and ask questions later". They want the USA to lose its sovereignty in favor of globalization and an eventual one-world government. They have a similar goal to what many would call fascists. What they want feels too much like communism for me to be comfortable. These people and their philosophy are dangerous to our Republic.
This neo-conservative philosophy is becoming commonplace and is part of the foundation of many of the latest crop of presidential candidates including: Mitt Romney, John McCain, Mike Huckabee, Fred Thompson, and Rudy Giuliani. Don't even get me started on the Democratic candidates.
There is one candidate however who is speaking out against this philosophy and his name is Ron Paul. Dr. Paul has spent a significant part of his life working against the neo-conservative infection. He advocates a philosophy of Freedom, something held dear by those brave souls that fought for their freedom in the American Revolution. We're in a unique position at this point in history. We can stand up for the philosophy of Freedom and vote for Dr. Paul or, if you prefer, we can vote for someone who will allow our country to be turned into another USSR or China.
If you are the common everyday man or woman, you have been feeling the pinch. It's been mostly an economic pinch. If you are married, perhaps both of you are working jobs to make ends meet. Maybe you are a single parent forced to live in a neighborhood that's neither save nor beneficial for raising your child. Perhaps you are a recent college graduate who has to work an extra job to pay for that school loan you needed because your parents didn't have the savings to help you out. These are symptoms of a bigger problem. The neo-conservative movement believes heavily in centralized economic planning. The current system essentially is set up to transfer gains in wealth by the middle class and poor to the rich elite. On paper it may all be "legal" but when you get right down to it, it is theft. Ron Paul is fighting against this problem.
The pinch that you probably are not feeling just yet is the neo-conservative attack or your Constitutional Rights. There are subtle things going on in Washington. There are neo-conservatives who are using special interest money to further their agenda to destroy the rights we are guaranteed by our Constitution. These things must stop. Will you do the right thing?
When you head to the polling place over these next few weeks, think about these things. Keep in your mind what is best for you, for your family, and for future generations. These are the things that Ron Paul is keeping in his mind and fighting everyday to improve. Listen carefully, and you won't hear the other candidates speaking about Constitutional rights, freedom, or national sovereignty like Ron Paul does. Please, do the right thing.

Ron Paul still wants to ammend the constitution to take away birthright citizenship. He literally thinks that Mexicans are ruining this country, while George W. Bush attempted to be more libertarian on this issue and open the border. America's racial hatred of Spanish speaking brown people via Rush Limbaugh, Lou Dobbs (who married a Mexican girl), and Semi-Libertarian Neal Bortz.
Ron Paul does not know if the Constitution needs to be amended to take away "birthright citizenship". it may well be possible to do by statute.
and sorry to inform you - mexicans are ruining large segments of the economy - they definitely cost much more than they contribute when accounting for their social/medical handouts and crime. but that is besides the point - it is simply ridiculous to give "citizenship" to the baby of a criminal that is here illegally in the first place. what other country would do something so silly/stupid?
furthermore, GW Bush is not attempting to be more liberatarian at anything. he is simply doing his part in destroying the USA as the people pulling his strings would like.
Blacks account for most of our welfare and socialists programs, does that mean that they are ruining the country? Should we deport all the blacks because of this? If not, why deport all of the illegal aliens? Are all blacks a problem? Are all Illegal immigrants a problem?
"Most blacks are criminals." If this statement is racist why isn't this one:
"Illegal Immigrants are criminals."
Is Free Trade a crime? If so all those who practice it by hiring a cheaper Brown skinned Illegal over a more expensive Black skinned legal to mow thier yard, should go to jail.
statist your logic is quite twisted and indicative of the dumbed down state of the "neo-public". to compare a American black or any bona fide citizen to someone who has illegally violated the border - thus having minimal legal standing - that part being basic deportation rights. This is true of any sovereign nation. It is only through the criminal actions of infiltrators in our govt (neocons) who have opened the borders, distorted well standing law of nations and convinced millions of desperate, highly uneducated people that they some sort of birthright or legal standing in this country. Deport a legal citizen? Imagine that!

NO the welfare warfare state is ruining the country. It makes people dependant on the govt. It does nothing to help improve a person only temporarily "fix" or mask the problem. "give a man a fish and he eats for a night. teach a man to fish and he can eat for life" Plus if you are solely dependant on social services and you are not broke than YOU are part of the problem regardless of color.
More blacks are incarcerated per cpita than whites, not racist true, BUT alot of our drug laws target blacks. The system is rascist.
Illegal is illegal, under OUR current laws here in America if you break the law you are considered a criminal, I imagine it is the same way in MEXICO, thats why we have 2 MILLION criminals amongst the ranks of 39 MILLION other illegals.
America first not Mexico. Let them take care of their own country
further - why is there no campaign to restore civil & land rights in Mexico? Mexicans running around yelling about a takeover....along with their ridiculous supporters who will do nothing to improve the state of Mexicans in Mexico. Mexico is one of the richest nations - with extreme levels of corruption. Land barons is Mexico own 100's of thousands of acres of land. Why not expose and take over the land that belongs to the people of Mexico? Mexican tourism is huge, lots of arable land, etc. etc...There is no reason in the world, other than a strategy to flood the US, disrupt it's critical infrastructure w/an eye towards bankruptcy and eventual overthrow...It is the stated goals of he CFR, neocons and is the operational theme of the SPP (security and prosperity plan)/NAU (north american union). Again, it is high level Mexican/US/Canadian officials who are playing a serious game with dumbed down US citizens and poor, uneducated Mexicans & criminals.
Mexico is the US's largest trading partner. Why would a bunch of people that are needed by our economy want to destroy it by practicing free trade?
Badmedia is correct, socialism is the problem not people. I bring up black people who are mostly criminals simply for using a substance that the Christians, Democrats, and Republicans said was bad. Why not ban cleaning agents that are used by stupid people to get high?
The point is without socialism, we could open the border and be even richer than we are now by practicing free trade with more nations other than Mexico, like Bangladesh (who's people work for less than Mexicans).
folks love to point out the higher per capita rate of black crime vs white. such an emphasis glosses over the fact that white citizens (based on shear numbers) commit the vast majority of crimes. further, white collar crime is considered innocuous. a black kid goes to prison fot 5-10 for a snatch and grab. a white collar criminal gets probation or fine for a scam that put hundreds out of their homes, causes companies to go belly up w/lost jobs, etc. etc...further the higher per capita is relegated to certain types of crimes - and if you consider the structure of certain drug laws (crack vs power cocaine) it is intellectually dishonest to harp on the contrived outcomes.
and yes illegal immigration displaces those who would have normally held such lower ranked position. in the present case, there is significant displacement of black youth (who would typically hold "menial" jobs during the summer, after school) - one study indicated that close to 85% of black youth went jobless over the past year. In cities like Chicago fast food was dominated by black kids - now it's old & young Mexicans - presumably illegal (based on Chicago's illegal status as a sanctuary city). Further, at a chicken plant in Georgia - ICE arrested the majority of illegal workers - the plant was forced to place an add for workers - not too suprisingly over 300 poor blacks (who used to work in chicken plants, in the field and hotels) stood in line for hours to interview for the less than 200 available jobs. You guys can play all of the games you want on this topic - but there is no such thing as a job that an American will not do. And if one was a true American, who believed in supply/demand principles - they would understand that if there were truly a shortage of workers then it would create an upward pressure on wages thus attracting those who may have departed such area of work. For that mater, just watch the show The Dirtiest Jobs on Discovery Channel. Americans of every race will do anything (working in poop infested sewers) to feed their families.
So should the US increase thier quotas for legal immigrants to an even larger number to make them legal? Or do we need the federal government to regulate citizenship? Why not let each state do this? If so why was it easier 100 years ago to become a legal immigrant than it is today?
Mexican Illegals are not criminals other than the fact that they crossed the line and didn't stay on thier side of the railroad tracks. Sounds a lot like how the South used to treat blacks.....
Here is one of the stories that received little fanfare - and btw Ron Paul is far more intellectually superior than his opponents.
"STILLMORE, Ga. -- After a wave of raids by federal immigration agents on Labor Day weekend, a local chicken-processing company called Crider Inc. lost 75 percent of its mostly Hispanic 900-member work force. The crackdown threatened to cripple the economic anchor of this fading rural town.
But for local African-Americans, the dramatic appearance of federal agents presented an unexpected opportunity. Crider suddenly raised pay at the plant. An advertisement in the weekly Forest-Blade newspaper blared "Increased Wages" at Crider, starting at $7 to $9 an hour -- more than a dollar above what the company had paid many immigrant workers. The company began offering free transportation from nearby towns and free rooms in a company-owned dormitory near to the plant. For the first time in years, local officials say, Crider aggressively sought workers from the area's state-funded employment office -- a key avenue for low-skilled workers to find jobs. Of 400 candidates sent to Crider -- most of them Black -- the plant hired about 200.
"Mexican Illegals are not criminals other than the fact that they crossed the line and didn't stay on thier side of the railroad tracks. Sounds a lot like how the South used to treat blacks....."
Wow - this statement has zero legal standing. Illegal actions at a national border (regardless of country) can land one in prison for many many years. Mexico is talking about microchiping criminal illegal aliens who violate the Guatemalan border. They are also subject to work camp. Perceived triviality of the illegal event has no bearing as to ones classification as a criminal. Further, I understand that the associated crime (illegal border crossing) is typically identity theft - a crime that will land an American in jail for a good minute or two. Further, when the American is arrested there is no big whip about the state of their kids and family affairs. You could be a single mom, who wrote bad checks to feed her kid - she is going to jail and the kid (unless she has family) goes to foster care. So sorry I have no sympathy when the neo-chumps start talking about anchor babies and displaced families. We have millions of broke, poor citizens who committed petty crimes to feed their family - no w hey are sitting in the clink without a wimper from the so called bleeding heart groups.
Statist: Your comments are very bizarre. Let me get this right ... you believe that secure borders = racism? or just bigotry towards Mexicans? You also believe that all white Americans hate Spanish-speaking people? Your comments and logic suggest that there should be no borders, no national sovereignty, no nations, just one big happy world with one government. Is that correct? Is there any country that you can hold up as a role model for the USA?
A libertarian approach to government does not mean open borders. Rather, it means that the legal citizens within the nation's borders are free from a dictatorial goverment, but rather have a small government dedicated to protect their personal liberties and fortunes.
Are you just playing Devil's Advocate, or do you really believe what you write?
Statist, the link you posted helped me understand your position on open borders. However, after reading it through, I don't see a conflict with Ron Paul's proposal to end birthright citizenship. His reason is to end the economic incentives for illegal immigration. To quote the LP.org article: "At the same time, we recognize that the right to enter the United States does not include the right to economic entitlements such as welfare. The freedom to immigrate is a freedom of opportunity, not a guarantee of a handout."
The point of eliminating birthright citizenship is to not provide economic entitlements of U.S. citizens to illegal residents who happen to have had a child born here.
I have not had a strong opinion on the matter of birthright citizenship, but after reading the LP.org article, I believe eliminating birthright citizenship would actually benefit the case for open borders.
Regardless, illegal immigration will always be a problem as long as our government (and the American people) believe in economic entitlements. The economic entitlements are not only an incentive for some to immigrate here illegally, it is an incentive for companies to hire lower-wage illegal immigrants. The more that the government taxes it's citizens, greater is the motivation for it's citizens to retain their wealth; and greater the temptation to retain or regain that wealth illegally.
Just remember, that at some point, Wrong Paul will be out of an office that he will never be in. Yet, the 14th ammendment change could easily be abused by annother politician. We need birthright citizenship to keep us from deporting an assimilated American. I guess that is not a racist policy. It is. The big L libertarians have the border idea right, and they don't have to trash the constitution to do it.
An illegal alien who has a child that grows up in America SHOULD be an assimilated illegal immigrant, not an assimilated America. So you grew up here, so what?
Some Americans are born and grow up and spend most of their lives in other countries, they are called ex-pats or third culture kids, but they are still Americans. You could be born in Japan and live in Japan and speak even speak fluent Japanese, but you'd still be American if your parents were American.
It's not a matter of "hating Hispanics", many Hispanics are lovely, friendly, hardworking people. It's just that coming into our country illegally is a crime, and it is unfair to legal immigrants and to citizens. We definitely should stop all access to any socialist benefits, school, etc. It makes no sense for taxpaying citizens to support non-citizens (for that matter, we should end welfare for citizens, too). NO amnesty, NO birthright citizenship.
It's not a matter of "hating drug users", many drug users are lovely, friendly, hardworking people. It's just that coming into our country and illegally doing drugs is a crime, and it is unfair to legal drug users and to sick people. We definitely should stop all access to any illegal drugs, paraphenelia, etc. It makes no sense for taxpaying citizens to support illegal drug users (for that matter, we should end welfare for legal drug users, too). NO amnesty, NO legalized illegal drugs.
Please be aware that there are borders between countries and that each country has rules and regulations on how to enter their country either to work or to apply for citicizenship.
Try entering any other country illegally by by-passing their border guards and see what happens to you.
This administration is being lax in enforcing the laws that have been in place since the foundation of this nation.
As it is, and it is unfortunate, that we are deliberately looking the other way as thousands of illegal entry immigrants flood our nation many who are criminals to begin with before they broke our entry laws. Not all are Mexicans that come in to work. Some are terrorist of Communist or Fanatical Islamic bend. Our country is not safe
with all this traffic of uneducated, criminals, and terrorist coming in by the thousands.
Our leaders look the other way because this benefits the large corporations who hire them and their one-world government plan. A North American Union is what they are attempting to do secretly without asking Americans if this is what they want.
They want to eliminate the borders between Canada, the U.S., and Mexico and institute a new currency called "the Amero". This would eliminate our National Constitution and implement a dictatorship for the North America Union.
This is definitely in the works and has been presented to our representatives in Congress. Ron Paul has been fighting for our national sovereignty for years.
Please Google Ron Paul to get the education that you need.
