Ron Paul Sounds the Call to Arms


The trump of freedom has sounded. This is the day of the resolute, the stalwart and of those with the conviction to make a difference. Where do YOU stand in the fight for freedom?

The American Revolution was won by men with conviction. Our noble forefathers did not scurry home to lick their wounds after numerous disheartening defeats at the muskets of the redcoats. They did not throw up a white flag or capitulate when lesser men would have given up hope. They kept fighting.

I call upon YOU to keep fighting for liberty.

Wipe the blood from your brow and keep fighting. Keep fighting for your God-given right to pursue liberty, unencumbered by an oppressive government. Keep fighting for the right to assemble and rally without Big Brother tracking your every move and plotting to tag you like sheep. Keep fighting against a regime that threatens the economic security of your family. Stand up for freedom. Fight for Ron Paul.

Though Ron Paul has beaten incredible odds to win the hearts and minds of thousands of new followers, some of our Revolutionaries have sunk into the depths of despair - lamenting fourth and fifth place showings in Iowa, New Hampshire and Michigan. But now is not the time for despair. It is a time of decision. Will you redouble your efforts? Or will you capitulate when you are most needed?

Our forefathers were once faced with a harrowing decision over whether to declare their independence from England and likely seal their commitment to the cause of liberty with their own blood, or to secure peace and tranquility through submission to the demands of their oppressors.

Barely one third of the colonists had enough resolve to challenge mother England in battle. Though few in number, the passionate pleas of men like Patrick Henry, the influential writings of Thomas Paine and Samuel Adams and the moral leadership of men like George Washington, all combined together to carry the debate.

The war began. Signers of the Declaration of Independence were hunted down and executed. Ragged colonial farmers turned soldiers left trails of wet crimson in the snow at Valley Forge as their bare feet bled and turned black with frostbite. These honored forefathers sacrificed all they had, including their peace and security, to fight for the righteous cause of America.

The great test of our generation lies before us. Are we willing to sacrifice our own peace and tranquility to face the dark and powerful foes that promote war and the degradation of our liberties? Is our blood too precious to shed for the future security of our children and grandchildren?

We stand at an historic juncture in the journey of our nation. In this moment of reflection we must ask, as did Patrick Henry so long ago, "Is life so sweet, or peace so dear as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?" And with him, I feel to shout the response: "Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take, but as for me - give me liberty or give me death!"

May you all be endowed with courage, resolve and a second wind for the battle that you may one day reflect on the time in American history when you stood up and made a difference - in spite of the odds.

Great article!  And right on target.  My son tells me he used to get more than 20 emails a day from his Meetup group.  Since New Hampshire he hasn't gotten any.  I'm sending a link to this article to him for him to forward to the group.  We've got to pick ourselves up before Super Tuesday!

Wonderful article!!

I am not sure that the troops have left the campaign or thrown any white flags. Maybe there was a need for a bit of breathing room and a chance to study the latest smear campaign.

What everyone needs to remember is that "they" are out of ammo now. No more bombshells, not even weak ones. They were premature IMHO in their smear because we have had the time to debunk their silliness well before 02/05.

Donations are still coming in. I am fond of checking the "new donors" . Right now there have been 190 donations today. 125 of those are NEW DONORS!! The movement grows.

They are empty-handed and empty-minded now. We continue to march onward.

i am so glad that there are still true patriots out there,  Ron Paul is a great man and he would be the first to tell you that the messege is more important than anything,   dont get me wrong i will fight to my last breath for such a wonderful,brave and smart patriot like Ron Paul.  but no matter what happens in the election all of us Ron Paul revolutionaries MUST stick together,  we cant let this momentum die.  we have to keep it together and fight on no matter what.
