Their own debate question has so embarrassed FOX that they have reportedly been re-airing a revisionist version of the show!

 MEDIA PERFIDY DEPARTMENT

If you haven't already, watch this two-minute You-Tube clip from Thursday's FOX News Live Presidential Debate ( excerpt linked here .) Just in case it may have somehow "vanished," here are links to several different copies: *1* -  *2* - *3*

In a question reminiscent of the classic "Have you stopped beating your wife?" , smirking "journalist" Carl Cameron attempts to embarrass Ron Paul by asking this:

"Congressman Paul, yet another question about electability....[hesitating]..... Do you have any, sir? There's always the question..." -- [at this point, derisive laughter - probably from another candidate - is heard] -- "...as to whether or not you are, in fact, viable. Your differences with the rest of the Republicans on this stage has raised questions about whether or not you can actually win the Republican nomination, sir."

Not surprisingly, Cameron has a reputation for bias (see this Wikipedia article.) Of course, if you are one of the three remaining people in America who don't already consider FOX "News" to be biased, you may want to read "FOX News Sunday - 'We Distort - You Deride'. "

In his concisely composed and cohesive answer, Dr. Paul wipes up the floor with these sniggering schoolboys. He contrasts the current crop of "Republicans" with Howard Taft and the traditional positions of the Republican Party.

Apparently, Paul's presence of mind was enough to seriously embarrass the FOX network. Reports from many sources indicate that FOX has edited the debate before re-airing it. Will they claim it was "edited for time?"

Talk about blow-back! Thank God for the internet, and for the hundreds of thousands of witnesses to all this maneuvering!

The loudest laughter (giggling, actually) came from Rudy.  If I am not mistaken, Ron Paul received more than double the votes Rudy got in Iowa, and was just 1% behing him in NH, which may change, BTW, since there will apparently be a NH reount starting this Wednesday.  Ron Paul has more total votes so far than does Rudy, and Dr. Paul also has more delegates than Rudy.  In fact, Rudy is the only Republican candidate listed by CNN as having 0 delegates.  So why is he giggling?  It certainly appears that Dr. Paul is far more electable than he.
