RINO is Redundant - The Field is Fractured Transforming a normal human into a Republican takes about 10 minutes, no test required. Anyone can join.by Jahfre Fire Eater

There are 5 Republicans polling in double digits. Every where I look someone is throwing around the Republican In Name Only (RINO) accusation. Another popular contest is 'Who is the True Conservative?'
Republican talking heads and candidates all say the same words and mean different things. "We need to return to our core principles, our Republican roots." Most of them are not willing to specify which principles the party has abandoned. It will be mighty hard to return to roots we can't identify.
So there are 5 very different flavors of Republican out there according to the polling. Oh wait, make that 6 because while Dr. Paul is not polling double digits, he does represent a unique flavor of Republican.
Ron Paul represents the core conservative principles, those Republican Roots, that everyone talks about but no one can identify except in highly qualified, out of context, sound bites. All of the candidates agree with Ron on some things but most of them disagree about the war and the IRS. Every candidate knows that war and taxes are how presidents make their mark on the world. Of course they have no respect for Ron when he has the audacity to shine the light of truth on their future tools of manipulation and enforcement. What if they get elected but the public want them to follow Ron Paul's programs for change? That would be the worst nightmare for the rest of the candidates.
So, there are 6 distinct flavors of Republican in the contest this year. How can any of them accuse another of being a RINO? After all, to become a Republican you do not have to take a quiz on your integrity, or your philosophy, or your religion, or your fears. Anyone can join, it is only a piece of paper.
What this means to me is that after 3 decades of liberal neocon influence in the GOP, the public is confused about what the party really stands for. It is my goal to ensure that in the future, the public knows how to spot a true conservative in 5 questions or less and to ensure that the GOP never again begins to sacrifice conservative values by electing liberal candidates. I love that the confusion is split so many ways. It clearly defines the problem. We're getting started with the continuing education and reunification of the conservative base as fast as we can. The interest in such communication has been dramatic and emphatic. This is a hopeful sign for the future of America.

This is a good reminder of what is happening among talking heads to muddy the realities, the party has been overrun with people no longer standing on the beliefs it was founded upon. My article on why I'm a Ron Paul Republican (http://www.nolanchart.com/article771.html) attempted to redirect people to the core beliefs found on most county Republican websites. I am anxious to see your 5 or less questions. Thanks for pointing this out!
