The American Tea Party Happens on Friday February 27, 2009

As many of you may have heard, there is a revolt brewing over the grotesque tax and spending boondoggle. A trillion dollars belonging to future generations of Americans has been blown and more is on the way from our current Administration. While Republicans and Democrats argue as to who should receive these funds first, the People are starting to realize that our government is creating these funds out of thin air. The People are starting to see that deficits are taxes on future economic production and future generations and the Federal Reserve Bank is financing these taxes.

More spending has taken place in the past 30 days than over an accumulated 232 years of government spending. A $1 trillion national deficit spending arrangement on top of a $10.7 Trillion dollar national debt is strangling our economy, yet the deficit spending continues. Over the past Bush Administration and the current Obama Administration our government has chosen to let politically connected groups and corporations keep their profits while nationalizing the losses.

Further spending is already on tap, which has been unveiled in the Omnibus spending bill with another $410 billion of pure pork products, including 9,000 earmarks. AIG is stepping back in the bread line with the automakers that are also looking for their second helping of deficit funded spending. Banks that were given funds to recapitalize are coming back for more money the government does not even have. Bankrupt States have their cup out as well, while public and corporate pension funds wait for their chance to dip into the People's future production and labor.

People see what is happening and, in the spirit of the Boston Tea Party in 1773, modern day Sons and Daughters of Liberty will be meeting simultaneously in cities all over the country this Friday, February 27, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. to protest this grand larceny perpetrated on the American public by the our elected officials.

The following cities are having Tea Parties this Friday, with several more in other cities in the coming days and weeks. The Constitution has been ignored long enough.

Washington DC

Atlanta

Buffalo

Cleveland

Chicago

St. Louis

Springfield, MO

Fort Worth

Houston

San Diego

Jackson, MS

Seattle

Ft. Myers Beach, FL

Wichita, KS

This American Tea Party may serve as nothing more than an asterisk in the history books that not everybody was complicit in the destruction of the American economy, but sometimes the folks represented by the asterisk end up being proven right, and they will be the ones in charge of putting our country back together. Our founding fathers warned us against the actions we see today in our government and the Constitution lays out the provisions to fix this all.
