It lays claim to a vague notion of charity yet conspires to continually take from everything productive rather than give. When it does "give", in a fashion more in line of the mafia than a successful business would act: It first skims an enormous chunk of those funds for themselves, on a federal level, then hands over what's left to the states, who in turn take their "cut" of the largess before what pittance that remains, is doled out in teaspoonfuls to those they infer are needy. All this is extracted by threat of the gun from rich and poor alike with no recourse for taxpayers to opt out of said system or reform the entire works.
It then has the utter gall to hold itself out as some absurd notion of a savior of the poor. It has rather deemed it proper to rob the poor and pat itself on the back for it's efforts, stating that those destitute would surely die without their theft.
It continually spins itself as a champion of peace, yet wages endless wars both at home and abroad. It seeks to endlessly reward those that create the implements of utter destruction with lucrative contracts.
It touts the most foul notion that the soldier who murders strangers asleep in their beds is doing so in the name of protecting freedom when it is more than obvious that Americans lose more freedoms with each war that is waged, no matter where the hostilities are located. It tramples, gases, abuses, and imprisons those that collect in the streets to protest war and claim their right to this peace.
Again I ask you to step aside, government. We have seen what you are capable of, and we are well aware of what you will do if you do not end your madness.
