VOTE!

It might be your last chance

Election day, set by the Constitution for the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, is 29 days from now.  Given the rush of states to pass early voting laws so that citizens can avoid contact with each other, you need not wait until election day to vote.  But election cay this year may be the last time that citizens are allowed to elect those who make the laws, so vote on November 4 at the latest.

Although the Constitution sets the election day only for the choice of electors or the President, all states have scheduled the selection of their congressional delegations for the same day.  The election this year, as every four years, is the citizens' opportunity to choose all of the Memebers of the House and one-third of the members in the Senate as well as express their opinion on the persons best qualified to be President and Vice President of the United States.

This is the most critical election in U.S. history, and the outcome is already rigged against the people.  The candidates of the two major parties, Barack Obama and John McCain, have already opted to continue the foreign and comestic policies of the Bush administration: foreign aggression, the police state and the end of representative government.  Voting for either of these candidates is simply choosing between leftwing fascism (Obama) and Right Wing fascism (McCain) {1}. If you must vote for either of these two candidates, ask each of them if they will at least make a pledge to respect the will of Congress, and not veto a law passed by Congress to deny the second installment of the bailout and return the power of the purse to the Congress.

Politician's pledges, of course, are meaningless.  It is important, however, to ask them for this pledge.  Use the E-mail, use snail mail, use the telephone.  Contact the networks and tell them to ask the candidates if they will make this pledge during the coming debates.  The pledge, if given, may be a lie, but it is important that it be asked for, to let the candidates know that not all Americans are asleep, and that the fascists will have opposition, even among the voters who believe the myth that there is a difference between the two major parties.

A better vehicle for the message of resistance is to vote for one of the third party candidates.  The four alternate presidential candidates who appear to have a chance to make an impression in the election this year are Charles Baldwin of the constitution Party, Bob Barr of the Libertarian Party, and Cynthis McKinney of the Green Party, along with Ralph Nader, who is running as an independent.  All of these candidates have drawbacks in their records and in their positions.  But all of them, in addition to their opposition to the police state and the imperial foreign/military policy endorsed by the two major parties, oppose the bailout bill passed by the Congress(2).   A vote for these candidates will serve as a warning to the Congress and the President that they are not free to do as they please

The third party solution is, in some respect, an even more limited  in dealing wtih the Senators and Representatives who voted to transfer power from the legislative to the executive branch.  This is because none of the third parties offer a full slate of candidates in any state, and an independent candidate, like Nader, has no legislative ticket at all.

Check to see how your Senator (if he is up for election this year) and your Representative voted.  If they voted for the bailout, vote against them this year, even if you voted for them in the last election and you have misgivings about the opponent.  The opponent cannot be worse, and citizens must make a stand in defense of the Constitution and of Repesentative government.  If the seat is an open one this year, press the candidates for a pledge to A.  Vote to prevent more than half of the $700 Billion in credit being made available, and seek to get the power of the purse back in the hands of Congress.  If your Senator, your Representative, voted against the bailout, vote for them in this election even if you voted against them before and you dislike their positions on other issues.  As I have said before, it will take courage and will for the Congress to undo the bailout.  Let's not lose our representatives who did not bow before the hysterian and the pressure the first time the question was put to them[3].

This might be the last meaningful election in the United State, the last one before the fascist regime is fully in control.  The election show may well go on with two puppets to entertain you competing to be the new figurehead of the regime.  Probably by the next election, third parties will be fully barred from the ballot in all states, and regardless of the outcome of the election, the real decision makers will be the bureaucrats who hold the real reins behind the figurehead.  If you treasure you freedom, vote!

I agree it is the last time we vote as the world will come to an end December 2012 as predicted by the Mayans.

2012 is also pionted as the end of the world by various other cultures such as the Chinese, Roman oracles, Greek oracles, etc.

It is also in the Kabbalah
