Steve Gordon of political blog Third Party Watch has been boosting a Bob Barr Libertarian Party candidacy since February. So perhaps it is understandable that he would post this video on the blog today.

Too bad that the video is, as one (re)viewer called it, "vacuous crap."

However, it does serve to raise the question: How are the Libertarian candidates doing on You Tube?

Herewith follows the You Tube Power Scores, based on the number of videos posted, for the main candidates as of May 16, 2008.

For those who wish to see and hear a candidate, just click on the highlighted name.

(Methodology: Exact match searches using the candidate's name as given below.)

Mary Ruwart - 9

Daniel Imperato - 14

Michael Jingozian - 20

George Phillies - 33

Wayne Allyn Root - 35

Steve Kubby - 40

Christine Smith - 103

Bob Barr - 116

and the landslide winner is ...

Mike Gravel - 2,850

including this one:

(Of course Ron Paul blows them all away with 114,000.)
