♣ Uncle Sam is the fictional personification of America we have all known and loved since the days of our childhood history lessons. Ron Paul is the flesh-and-blood embodiment of an authentic American Statesman, the Champion of the Constitution. No living candidate better represents the heart of America, the spirit of Uncle Sam, than Representative Ron Paul.
You need not look too closely to see that America is in deep and rapidly deepening trouble. If we are to survive as a nation and to prosper, "Uncle Ron" needs your involvement today as never before. Are you up to the challenge? Will you heed the call?
Ron Paul has faithfully represented his countrymen in the halls of congress for twenty years. He has upheld his oath of office to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, often standing alone as several hundreds of his "peers" voted their own selfish agendas. Look Uncle Sam in the face - can't you see the strong resemblance to Ron Paul? They could almost be brothers, Brothers in Arms.
Dr. Paul is presently in the midst of a fierce battle for the Republican party nomination. He has fought courageously and nobly, facing down scorn and ridicule from the likes of FOX "News" and in the persons of smarmy little men like Sean Hannity and Carl Cameron.
While many of his grassroots supporters have worked hard and dug deeply into their own pockets to advance the campaign, the time has come that even more footsoldiers are needed. The bugles are sounding a battle cry; will you hear and answer the call? That's right, I'm talking to you! Uncle Ron Wants YOU!
If you believe in the concepts that Dr. Paul has so tirelessly promoted, the lofty ideals of freedom, liberty, and justice for all, how can you sit at home on the couch night after night, enthralled by the very media you profess to despise? The brave souls who founded our once great nation pledged, devoted, and ultimately sacrificed their "lives, fortunes, and sacred honor" in the cause of freedom.
You've given your money, that's good. You've told your fellow workers about Ron Paul, that's great. The momentum is growing! Although there have been some missteps and some initially discouraging setbacks, Ron Paul is making headway! He has promised to stay the course! One by one, his opponents are dropping out! But now is not the time to hang back, not the moment to nurse our wounds or to nurture any slightest thought of possible defeat.
The greatest need of the hour, if Dr. Paul is to make it to the convention, gain the nomination, and ultimately win the oval office, is for you to get out in the street and carry the message of Ron Paul to your neighbors, the families in your own voting precinct. There is nobody better suited to the task than you. There is no one more perfectly situated than you. Your neighbors, though they do not yet know it, are relying on you. Do you really think the media will tell them? Will they read about Ron Paul in the paper? Will they see his face, hear his message, on television? You know they won't!
And do not think that highly motivated Ron Paul supporters will come to your state as they have done in both Iowa and in New Hampshire, the early primary states! Those were the shock troops, the storm troopers who gave so much to get the ball rolling. They have done their job well, positioning Dr. Paul so successfully that, one by one, lesser candidates are folding their tents and going home. Super Tuesday is almost upon us! Now is the time to enlist! Now is the time to sign on the dotted line, to commit to getting out the vote, because the battle is joined, the rEVOLution has begun, the fighting is fierce!
Mainstream media in their perpetual perfidy continue to steadfastly ignore Dr. Paul. Sniggering bloggers are working 24/7 in their vain attempts to smear him.
Let us rise to the challenge. Let us think of our children and grandchildren, and of the generations to come. Will they rise up and bless us, or will they curse the memory of our wimpy and self-indulgent ways? Will they speak of our willingness to give our time and energy, or of our fear and our cowardice, the love of comfort and ease that brought a nation to ruin?
Our modern-day "Uncle Sam," the Honorable Representative from the great state of Texas, Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul, Wants YOU!, to step up and herald forth the message of hope and freedom to the homes in your precinct. Today is the day. Now is the time. This is the hour. Let us not fail in our patriotic duty! Take the pledge today! Uncle Ron Wants YOU!

Uncle Sam has said many things over the years. He is nothing more than a Statist propoganda icon who represents big government's position of desiring to tell you what cause to volunteer for.
The idea was based off of Britian's Lord Kitchener posters. This design template was often immitated as seen here.

It is a little ironic that a non-interventionist supporter of Ron Paul would want to use a figure head that has inticed many young men to lose thier lives in foriegn wars that back then's pasifists and non-interventionists thought were unecessary and expensive. Brilliant! Just brilliant! Give yourself a raise would ya'.
