Ron Paul: Hope for the Future

There are only two conservatives in the race, Ron Paul and Fred Thompson. The other candidates each represent slants on conservatism that contain a wide stipe of "liberal use of force" to promote personal agendas (liberalism) and should be abhorrent to anyone who considers themselves to be politically conservative.

The facts are:
- Fred represents the dead and decaying cold-war conservatives. They cannot be revived.
- Ron Paul represents the youth and the formerly apathetic core conservatives. They are the future.

Here's why.

Ron Paul embodies the Conservative High-5 principles.

The Conservative High-5 Principles are:
1. The Rule of Law
2. Individual Liberty
3. Limited Government (local control)
4. Free Enterprise
5. National Defense (As opposed to belligerent wars of empire and police forcing the world.)

There is one defining difference between the old-guard Thompson-conservatives and the new wave of Paul-conservatives. The new wave is fueled by solid conservative principles and self-education about the value and strength of a society built upon those strong, consistent principles. The old guard was fueled by fear and perpetuated through cultural indoctrination through the Department of Education, Television and talk radio. Even religions became instrumental as they changed over time from promoters of peace and charity to promoters of bloodthirsty, fear-based religious war. The tactic of fear is the foundation of the Democratic Party and has been for 200 years. The Republicans learned it from them, quite well, in fact.

This fear drives them to support a culture of perpetual war consciously or apathetically but they support it none-the-less with their every action for their entire lives. They cannot comprehend peace. For them it is too late. That is why the surging of youth behind Ron Paul is so incredibly encouraging...and why we are launching The Alphaville Decoder organization as a hub for keeping these youth involved and active in promoting their conservative values in their local communities. We will provide tools training and a sounding board for anyone interested in promoting the new conservative movement and enhancing the influence their individual behavior may have in their local community. We promote "trickle up integrity" through consistent participation in the candidate selection process at the local level.

Good ideas can stand the test of fire. Solid principles prove out their value over and over regardless of faith, party or time period. Erosion of principles is what causes empires to topple. That erosion provides the toe-hold for rationalizations for policy intended to devalue currency, indoctrinate youth into a culture of war, promise spoils to political backers and arouse the ire of sovereign nations who feel threatened by our lack of principles and our willingness to use force to demonstrate that lack. Its all related. The whole pattern of empire in decline is a unit to behold in total, not anecdotes and snapshots to be compared academically in isolation as the fear-mongering media machinery is designed to do.

Knowledge conquers fear. Ron Paul's supporters are the first wave of Americans to kick off the harness of the professional fear-mongers who have steered politics since the ridiculous Truman Doctrine and the Domino Theory of communist take over in Southeast Asia.

This first wave was as result of the convergence of technology and inflation and a looming depression of epic proportions along with a man willing to stand firmly on these principles in the swirl of unprincipled political sniping that goes on in the quest for the Presidency.

Harmful national policies can only be upheld by the ruthlessly ambitious over the ignorant and unempowered. The bulk of the Ron Paul conservatives are empowered and well informed but raw and unfocused. In many cases they are totally unaware of the potential they represent and are acting on pure outrage and adrenalin. That approach cannot be sustained and the battle is Loooooooong. Resisting assimilation is our only hope. We have to freely, consciously and with deliberation wrest control from the elitist/globalist/empire-builders who now operate both sides of our political machinery. This doesn't happen in a sprint. This is never ending cross-country, with deadly pursuit.

The Ron Paul revolution is the first organized assault on this entrenched self-destructive cultural dementia and the threat to individual liberty that it poses. In a never ending struggle to defend liberty against those who are fueled by fear, this new momentum is a huge event. It is the first positive indication that mankind is capable of stepping out of our often repeated cycle of empire in decline.

The Internet is a miracle cure for cultural Alzheimer's disease. Suddenly people in huge numbers are realizing that they are in the midst of a struggle for their very own liberty and they always have been.... Shazzzaaaam! Now what? Get a grip, stick to the Conservative High-5. You'll be fine. These principles are to liberalism and empire what the cross and sunlight are to vampires.

Neville Chamberlain and Ron Paul are the same person. Remember what happened to the UK under Non-Interventionist Chamberlain. They saw the war machine comming and did nothing to stop it early on. I am amased at how we remember phohibition era (I hope) and forget the rest of the 1930's. Who has Alzheimers now?

Hi Chichemo, thanks for your continued support.  Thanks for the subtle implication that exhibiting leadership is not the same as leading.  I'm just an individual doing what I think is best.  If it catches on, cool.  That would be a result of the behavior of others because I'm just doing my thing in my local community.

I hope more people will abandon their distraction by national politics and focus more on the role of government in their local towns and counties.  It is much easier, more rewarding and far cheaper.  When you have to deal with your adversaries in public, while running errands, rather than flaming them from thousands of miles away via email, it tends to keep discourse more civil.  Not always.  Like this morning.  Whew.  What a nasty man we met at a breakfast debate club today.  It takes all kinds, even middle-aged tantrum throwers.

The Statist (good choice of name) misrepresents the truth as usual..Chamberlain was a jerk, but he was acting under the misimpression that we, the US were his friends. Meantime we were supplying Hitler with strategic war materials such as iron and steel and tetraethyl lead. The Board of Directors of the largest industrial war machine in Germany, IG Farben, was 50% American, mostly bankers that were funneling money to Hitler. Rosevelt needed a war to save the dollar and finally end the depression which was largely caused by FDR's confiscation of the citizens' gold. If you don't understand why war is inevitable when currency is debased past a certain point, read Hodgkins' book "War Cycle Peace Cycles". History is repeating itself as our empire is self-destructing.

When Ron Paul gets Rush Limbaugh's endourcement, then we can possibly say that he is the next president. His whole future of conservatism is going faster than the Tom Cruise Youtube video of him promoting Scientology.

If you look at all Nolan Chart articles praising Dr. Ron Paul, he is the 1st poster - and he's always ignorant and devisive. Guess he's got nothing going in his life but to post antagonistic comments about the next President of the United States, Dr. Ron Paul !!

I don't think Rush will be endorsing RP, but I'm not too concerned. I think Romney, or rather, one of his companies bought the network that has Rush's contract. Anyone have more info?

All I pay attention to are points in reader comments that deserve a reply so ignoring the statist is a natural by-product of that perspective.

I think everyone who reads nolanchart.com articles know the score after reading a few articles and their comments.  It is pretty obvious who is who.
